A few keys have suddenly stopped working. They are the letters from S to L in the second row. Apple service says need to replace the entire keyboard. Is there any other solution? Replacing it will cost a lot! Around $320. No, damage such as dust or liquid. Not sure what caused it. Untitled

If you are sure you didn’t spill any liquids into your system or use any spray cleaners onto the keys then I suspect your real issue is a bad battery. Lets check things by first running this app CoconutBattery post a snapshot of the main window so we can see your batteries status Adding images to an existing question Update (09/08/2018) You appeared to have replaced the battery at some point. Your current battery looks good! Its possible the original battery swelled up pressing on the uppercase damaging the keyboard. At this point I think you’ll need to replace the uppercase as its’ the easier way to replace the keyboard.
