Hello, I would like to replace the keyboard of my german MacBook Pro Retina 13" Early 2015. But as I noticed from the guides in iFixit and other sources, I should disassemble most of the notebook in order to reach deep into the keyboard. My question: should I disassemble the battery as well? Or can I leave it in place? Also should I disassemble the Force Trackpad? Thanks a lot!
Unless you are a skilled technician I would advise not attempting this procedure. I have done this repair on a water damaged machine I believe that I did remove battery to completely get to the keyboard: MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 Upper Case Replacement The English-German skin I recommended in your previous question should be given a try first in my opinion. That keyboard uses pegs for the most part. Here’s is video on it being replaced if you decide to go ahead with it.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e96zY4c6…
