Hi. I recently ordered an iFixit replacement keyboard for my 13" 2018 Macbook Pro Retina. The problem: I can’t find an iFixit guide for performing the keyboard replacement. No way I’m doing this by the seat of my pants. Anybody out there aware of a replacement guide?
Hi Here a YouTube video on how to replace the keyboard https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6GCwPjF_Dj… I am aware that this video isnt for your model but the procedure is the same(you will also need to get to the bit where they remove it in the video) Here’s a dissasembly of the device up til the logic board(you will just need to remove the screws and I clip the connectors after) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_l5SFWA69I… Just a warning as this repair is quite difficult as the keyboard is riveted into place whitch makes it Alot harder and more dangerous If you need any help in the repair just ask me or anyone else here Thanks:-)
Sorry, the keyboard is not supposed to be replaceable as its glued to the top cover.
