i have an iMac 27" and it is working fine but since a few days the keyboard is acting very weird. While typing the keys its typing extra characters and specifically when i press m its takes the cursor and places before m. When used a regular windows keyboard with wire it works fine but when i type with the magic keyboard its acts weird. Need your help to understand the issues.”
Hello, you may need to take apart the Apple keyboard and clean it, while making sure no liquid has entered in on anything. I’ve had the same issue with a razor gaming keyboard and it ended up having some Debris in it, that made two keys off set. Once cleaned it’s worked great!
Review this teardown Magic Keyboard Teardown Sadly, Apple uses rivets to hold the sandwich together so if you had a spill its hard to clean the switches. Popping off the keycaps is all you can do to try to get the junk out which is interfering with the scissor mechanism.
