Had a swollen battery, replaced it and the Mac boots up but the keyboard does not work. After reviewing the logic board guide it appears that the Zip connector in steps 27-28 was lost or broken during the battery replacement process. The trackpad works just fine. Any way to get the Mac to recognize a Bluetooth keyboard for entering my password so I can login and use it? If not, is a logic board replacement my only option?

@kellybreit this all will depend on how bad the damage is. Post some good pictures of the damage, connector etc. with your QUESTION. That way we can see what you see. If the damage does not involve to many ripped traces etc. It is conceivable that a new connector can be soldered in it’s place and not having to replace the complete logic board.
