Chosen Solution Help. I have an 8 blink code for my 2006 Panasonic model TV- TH50PX60U. Can anyone confirm what the solution is for this year build and model? Is it the same as proposed above by oldturkey? Thanks. Noah Ring the 8 blink code is for the driver SOS 3 SS Board (SS energy recovery circuit) error and originates on the SS board. It is possible that my answer Light blinks 8 times no picture or sound will work for your model but you have to take a look at the SS board first....

Chosen Solution I installed a 110v outlet using one live wire and a grounded wire. I measured the outlet to be 125v. When I plugged a 110 v iron, it did not heat. The iron is working in other 110v outlet., but not in this extension outlet. What is the problem. @rogergusilatar Look at how the functional outlet is wired. Copy that or use an electrician. Your house wiring depending on it’s age might have only two wires but in anything modern that ground is there to be exactly that: a ground, sounds like you may have miswired the outlet....

Chosen Solution While working on securing the isight/bluetooth/airport cable to the card (it was very difficult to get it to slide back in.. I had to remove the plastic piece to the right of it), i accidentally shorted a component on the board.. sounded like a little rocket engine igniting… I had forgotten to unplug the battery. Now my iSight doesn’t work, and bluetooth isn’t recognized. Everything else in the computer seems to work fine....

Chosen Solution I am going to upgrade my iMac to an SSD and need some plastic cards as per the instructions. The IFixIt cards however are out of stock and only available in UK/Italy/Australia but I’m in the US. Is a credit card or similar good enough and of similar thickness and flexibility? Chosen Solution Hello, I accidentally knocked off the c8040 capacitor/resistor (not exactly sure what it is) on the logic board when changing out the video card. It’s brown in the middle. Chosen Solution Hey guys. Picked up a dead 6s from marketplace for cheap. Phone shows no signs of life - doesn’t switch on at all. Tried different battery/screen etc. nothing works. Here’s the dilemma, I can blind boot into DFU & recovery mode and restore the device (Mac speaks to it) and afterwards Mac reads the phone as it is connected and on but the phone still doesn’t show signs of life (image/sound/vibration)....

After battery replacement and isoprophyl cleaning it turned on, but in the general settings the battery isn’t able to show condition and showing repair need. If I put the battery in other phone, it’s showing 100 % condition. I need to replace the keyboard, but notice that the offerings on Ebay don’t specifically write that they are compatible. I understand the effort and screws involved in changing only the Keyboard. The sellers say it isn’t compatible, but I wonder if there’s anyone out there with first-hand experience. This review also implies that it would work....

Chosen Solution I purchased a 17” alum pb from ebay and someone has snapped the little white port off of the logic board where the ribbon cable goes in for the keyboard/power button/trackpad and the piece did not come with it. Is there a possibility that I could solder the leads from the ribbon cable to the board and if so what is the pattern and process to it because the port seems to reverse where the cables go....

Chosen Solution I have the Hemp Canvas Ranch Jacket. I love it. But the zipper refuses to stay closed after several years of use. I zip it up, look down, and the zipper will have opened up below the “pull”. I guess I need to replace the zipper, but I am not worth a hoot with a needle and thread.
