Chosen Solution I upgraded my RAM but in doing so may have damaged the RAM slot. Now neither the new or previous RAM works. Do I have a paperweight now? Images show left and right sides for comparison. Update (11/09/2021) A thin piece snapped off, it was where the draw box indicates. I was hoping it would not matter…but the old RAM doesn’t work now either. The piece was at the very bottom of the carriers, against the circuit board....

Chosen Solution It will not load eany games there is a chance that the disc reader in the ps4 is not clean, if you go inside the device and check and it is clean then I would go ahead and try replacing the disc reader.

Chosen Solution I just purchased an ifixit replacement battery to exchange for the dead battery in my wife’s iPhone 6. Out of the box it charged up and my wife used it. That night she did not plug it in (the connector she plugged her phone into was not connected to an actual charger.) Anyway, after hours of being plugged in, the phone indicated that it took a charge, was at 100% and powered on....

Chosen Solution Computer was working fine. Dicided to do a High Sierra Update. During update it asked to restart computer. I clicked restart. When it booted up, the password was asked. I put in password it acts like it is trying to open then it shuts down and give the kernel panic message. It restarts and repeat… Any help would be great. Chosen Solution The keyboard in my wife’s Macbook Pro 13” early 2015 has stopped working. The trackpad still works, but no response from the keyboard (except the power button). Chosen Solution so pretty much, a couple months ago i spilled soup on my laptop and it started acting up. the laptop would turn on, just not the screen. i left the laptop i storage for a while because i didnt think it would work again, but i just went and checked and it turns on :). the only problem is that the keys aren’t really in english anymore? like when i type in “C” is types in “ç”....

Chosen Solution I have Asus E200H. I can see the USB as a bootable device but it wont boot from it. I have Linux installed. Any reason why? Launch CSM isn’t available. Bios 300 Choose it as the boot device in your BIOS, or repeatedly press F12 while booting. That should work! Happy Fixing! TAG2YT

Chosen Solution I have HP iPaq 114 stuck on Download mode and it randomly turns on when connected to AC and when I press reset button It turns off and stay that way for over 10 minutes. @hamza7113 first replace your battery since that seems to be part of the problem. After that you can try a hard reset. (you’ll lose your saved files etc.) Press and hold the start button(it has the Windows logo on it....

Chosen Solution I pugged it to 240w instead of 120w @tirusha, T nawarathna , The bread maker will have to be taken apart to see extent of damage and the circuitry tested, it may be repairable. If not familiar/comfortable working with electronics, have a good local small electronics repair shop take a look, diagnose and estimate repair. Good luck. Chosen Solution I recently replaced my iPhone X battery. It worked as expected on iOS 13. Since updating to iOS 14, now the battery’s health registers as significantly degraded, Maximum Capacity is blank, and the battery life is absolutely garbage. A few times it suddenly shut down and often when I connected the keyboard it shuts down, but it worked for me. Battery connection very likely lose. Also I watched the new generation of the Ipad Pro 11 for a good price, around the last black friday but there wasnt a good price, so I didnt bought one....

Chosen Solution If you don’t have a hot plate for screen removal, could a glass cooktop on low heat be a viable substitute? Or would that just destroy things? In my experience, heat is not necessary, but can be helpful on these displays. A suction cup and some force is generally sufficient. As was previously mentioned the iOpener tool would fit the bill, but if that’s not an option, I have been known to use “heating pad” type alternatives....

My iPhone 5 16GB Verizon US UNLOCKED has a working earpiece and speaker (tested via VOICE MEMOS) However, when placing a call through the phones ‘Phone’ app, no dial tone can be heard, or the other persons voice, but the phone does connect. It’s just I can’t be heard and others can’t hear me during a call. I downloaded a VOIP app and everything worked normally....

Chosen Solution So I got a second-hand iPhone 5S. It has very very low use and no sign of wear, was bought new in 2016. (Crazy, I know).
