Chosen Solution I received an iPhone 7 Plus to repair and resell. It isn’t set up yet, but it keeps searching for a signal, while the sim card isn’t inserted. Chosen Solution I’m looking for up-gradation kit of HDD to SSD on my 27’’ 5k iMac 2019 model. But I didn’t find out adhesive strip for the same. Is it same as 2012-2017 model adhesive strip? Since the form factor has not changed since 2012 they are the same: [linked product missing or disabled: IF173-005-1] I’m looking for those too, but read somewhere that the mic hole on newer iMac 27 is now on the lower side of the bezel and standard strips can cover it causing issues with the mic, don’t know the exact details but I would like to know when the specific 2019 strips will be available in Europe, as they are in USA store....

Chosen Solution When I extract the hard drive from it’s outer shell, is it 2.5"? Update (03/06/2018) The S/N: NZ07QHER does this help? Some are 2.5", some are are 3.5". It’s according to exactly what you have. Seagate makes both as backup drives. How about telling us your exact model number?

Chosen Solution I have rather stupidly cracked the small black strip at the bottom of my macbook pro screen. Before you ask - i don’t have Apple Care. My question is whether anyone knows if this section is part of the actual screen or whether it can be replaced itself? The part is called a Chin Plate Apple won’t replace this part, they will only replace the entire display assembly! As long as the glass shards haven’t damaged the ribbon cables just behind you should be able to replace it and save your self $800 ~ $1,100 USD!...

Chosen Solution I have what I suspect is an initial release AGS-001 (1st version of the PCB) and it has always had terrible battery life. I have tried swapping batteries and even replaced the screen with no change in battery performance. Most I can get is about 3-4 hours with the front light off. Anybody seen this? The system works fine otherwise.

Chosen Solution My SR7300 has a similar problem. It works fine apart from no display. I tracked to problem to open circuit filaments (heater elements) in the fluorescent display. Chosen Solution My tablet has stopped charging even though I plug it in. I have tried a different charger, and different wall outlets, still the same issue. If you have tried a different charger, then there is a good chance that it is either battery issue or a problem with the micro USB port. I would suggest starting with the easiest option, replacing the battery. Refer to the battery replacement guide....

Chosen Solution So I ordered the iFixit replacement screen for the Apple Watch 4 44mm and I changed it but since I’ve change it the screen stills black. The Watch is on because it vibrates and the buttons respond with vibrations but the screen stills off. I’ve tried to put the broken one again and still black, What can I do? Chosen Solution Hi. Due to replacement of my iPhone 5s screen I found that there was a small bracket at the 3´d screw at the home button assembly. Now the Fingerprint reader does not work - and I forgot to put in this bracket. The former owner says she never did replace the screen ( it was broken when I bought it) and she said the fingerprint reader worked. I think the sensor is an aftermarket one, but can the non working fingerprint reader have something to do with this little bracket?...

I noticed water on the floor which came from the ice maker section of the freezer. Chosen Solution So I just put my sim tray the wrong way and now it is stuck . How can I get it out ? do you have any pictures? the only thing that can really be done is to gently pry it out with like tweezers or like pry bars in the ifixit kits on the site.

Chosen Solution We were getting the e5 error on our samsung french door fridge freezer. Following the advice of many posts on the internet, I checked the defrost temp sensor and found the plug to be very corroded. I purchased a replacement but when going to install it I have noticed that the corrosion problem as eaten away one of the pins in the socket. The socket (looking at the lugs on it) does not come off into the fridge unit, it must be removed after removing the whole back of the unit....
