Chosen Solution Hi, my iPhone 5s is now completely dead and I have no ideas left of what to do. When the phone was alive the battery was little bit to bad so I replaced it and the battery capacity made some improvements, but after a few days the phone was difficult to charge. I tried different chargers, USB cables and sometime the phone started to charge if I left the charger plugged in for a while but then after another days it totally dead....

Chosen Solution Last night, I couldn’t get any of my apps to load or stay open. I tried just turning it off and back on again but I got stuck in a boot loop. I’ve looked up videos and online guides but nothing has worked. I went into iTunes and updated it, and now my computer isn’t even detecting my phone when I plug it in. I’ve tried all the button combos and every trick I could find (I’ve been trying for an hour and a half now…) but I’m still haunted by the aggravating apple logo....

Chosen Solution Like in this case (Why is my iPhone waking up every 10 seconds?) I had a slight water damage with my iPhone 6 (left it in the rain for roughly 2 minutes). Since then my iPhone is waking up every minute. And I experience acoustic phone call disruptions (only at my side), maybe the speaker is damaged? I already opened my iPhone and cleaned the Home button connector with no success....

Chosen Solution Screen not sitting flush after screen replacement. The phone has some dents on the corners. Those dents don’t seem to bad from what I can tell. Make sure you slide the top part of the screen into the top brackets first and it should sit flush.

Chosen Solution In the process of changing the speakers, the IR sensor connector broke off and all the wires are black instead of having any kind of color coding. I need help to identify the power and GND connections on the logic board so I can solder the wires instead or attach them with tape of something. Did you damage the logic board or the sensor side? If you damaged the sensor cable side I would just replace it as its quite easy to do Infrared Board w/cable - Apple P/N 923-0251 If on the other hand you damaged the logic board connector...

Apple has also long since dropped support in the MacOS (OS-X) for the older PowerPC systems, in addition, Apps written for the newer OS’s won’t run on your older PowerPC and using this system online would not be smart as the OS has a lot of security holes....

Chosen Solution My screen got totally smashed. It did a little of backlight when turned it on. I assumed that the possible repair requires just screen replacement, so i disassembled it and checked so. I put the screen on the desk and manipulated with it carelessly, while the rest was laying on a pillow. The screen achieved a few more cracks and damage. It took me a day to decide, pick the right and cheapest screen on ebay for $10....

Chosen Solution well I need a fpc for the touch of an iPod6 but I can obly find models for iPod 4th Anyone knows if theyre compatible or somewhere I can buy a fpc for an iPod6 No they are not. The board connectors for the 4th gen are slightly larger, and the pins will not line up correctly. They are however, the same as an ipod 5th gen.

Chosen Solution I’ve got an appointment at the Apple Store for see if they can repair the body of my iPhone 7 Plus (RED), as I’ve got a big scratch/crack on it. Chosen Solution I changed the settings but it still wont work. The scroll wheel rotates inside a transparent plastic piece. Remove and clean the transparent plastic piece with alcohol, both sides. The optical sensors infrared light needs to cross the two windows on the plastic piece and the wheel. If the plastic is dirty, the scroll wheel won’t work. The dirt comes inside easy from the wheel. Make sure that the tiny slots inside the wheel are clean too, they look like bicycle wheel spokes....

Chosen Solution I have an RCA LED46C45RQ LCD FULL HD FLAT SCREEN. I have power, volume, remote works and changes channels, but, I have a Blue screen and cant see anykind of menu or anything else to suggeat what I need to do ! I have looked at MANY online suggestions and nothing has worked. I know that the tv is still good but, I cant get a NEW suggestion on what to try !...

Chosen Solution log in code changes after battery replacment Phillip, you’ve got something else going on here; there’s nothing whatsoever in the process of changing a battery that will affect your passcode. Some of the newer models will complain that the battery may not be genuine, but yours is too old to even have that “feature”. Did you have someone else replace the battery? Perhaps a repair technician changed a setting on your phone, but nothing in the hardware can do that....

Chosen Solution I have a 21.5” iMac Mid 2014 A1418 with logic Board 820-4668-A which is faulty. Looking for any alternative logic board I can use which will work in this system. Also one that can support upgradable memory and/or blade SSD supporting logic board. I found a 1.4 GHz Logic Board that supports a blade style SSD on an external site (iFixit is sold out) but you are limited to 8 GB of RAM because it is soldered to the Logic Board....

Chosen Solution Hi there, my iMac screen currently flickers non stop at all brightness levels. The severity of the flickering is at its worse when the brightness is at maximum, but almost usable when at its lowest. I have replaced the LCD backlight board, the display cable and the LCD display with a new display and cables. I’m completely stumped at this point. The reason the Mac was opened in the first place was to replace the GPU which had died with a new one....

Chosen Solution If i talk loudly into my microphone i can faintly hear myself. No windows feedback thing is not on. if i’m talking to people online they can of course hear me but also clearly hear the audio coming from my PC. I think its an windows thing because it happens right after the bios screen disappears @thesol ftb , If it happens when connected to either the front or rear speaker/mic ports then the common factor maybe is the Realtek audio drivers....

Chosen Solution Hello, I have an iPhone 11 which does not turn on. On the DC power supply, when I press the power button it does a normal boot sequence until about 120 milliamps, before going to 0. The boot sequence only lasts about 3-5 seconds. It just loops infinitely like this, and does not stop. 120 milliamps is the most it has reached and I’m not sure exactly what might be shorting....

Chosen Solution hi, i have an iphone 4, which is not turning on, i thought that its a battery problem so i changed it, the flashlight turns on after i connect new battery,but it does’nt turns on. i think its short circuited, can it be repaired??? Before you do that try a different charger, cable and wall outlet. Also try to replace the dock connector, if that still doesn’t work and you dont know how to micro solder....
