Chosen Solution I dropped my phone a couple weeks ago & when I picked it up i saw colored lines. I’m wondering if it can be fixed If I just replace the screen or is something else wrong? There are a lot of base cases available for a V5 471 and V5 472 models which appear to use the same case, going by the part number. If you have the old case still, check if there is a part number on it somewhere and then search online using the part number rather than the laptop model number....

Chosen Solution I just replaced my S7’s camera module and lens, which involved heating the edges, prying off the rear cover, removing the three modules and motherboard, and replacing the camera itself. After re-assembly the new camera works, but every once in awhile the phone behaves as if there are a flurry of touches on the menu soft key; the apps menu pops up repeatedly as if the menu were touched, sometimes the two most recent apps alternate as if the menu were swiped sideways, etc, all without touching the screen at all....
Chosen Solution HI, The internal SSD is auto un mount when it’s working. Some time its appeared in the boot menu and some times don’t. I used and external SSD to check the internal one appears when I started the disk utility the loading icon appeared then I got message internal SSD unmounted. I dis assembled the SSD and cleaned the pads and same problem. Any suggestions ?? Thanks in advance....
Chosen Solution While I’m using it, the display turns off. Looks like the display backlight is perhaps still on (in dim light I can see it as very dark grey). I can get Siri to shut it down (don’t need to see the display for that.) Sometimes I can get it to go back on just by waiting a few minutes, sometimes I can get it to come back on if I use the home button and on/off switch together and get it to restart....
Chosen Solution I asked a question about this last time, saying pressing the corner to the right of the home button caused my screen to turn gray. Well, turns out the screen was popping out (thanks person that told me about that), but now it’s gotten a bit worse. The screen is popping out much more than before and it’s gotten to the point where I have to try multiple times to press down on the home button, due to the screen popping out slightly there and making it difficult for the button to move far enough to actually go to the home screen....

Not i dont have any special equipment apart from screwdrivers. Is it difficult to exchange that part? First you should try using a different charger. If that doesn’t work then you should go ahead and change the charging port. Its shouldn’t be a hard job it just takes patients and time....
