Make short recording, play back with loud speaker OFF, and then you can test the Proximity Sensor. The noise level is high. @katfomon1951 the charger only charges the battery not the motor. If the charger heats up excessively and it is a new charger, replace the battery inside your FHV1200 and then re-evaluate, You can always post some pictures etc. if you find some odd looking component or have trouble with the battery removal Adding images to an existing question Of course you also want to make sure that this is not related to a bad outlet where you plug the charger in....

Chosen Solution I was trying to repair my iPhone due to being wet from water, when I accidentally pulled the phone apart too quickly and ripping my touch ID cable. What can I do? Locate the barcode on the connector and the cable, scan them, ask the cable supplier if it’s possible to print/etch the barcodes onto the new cable. If you get the new cable with the barcode done, you can still get warranty after you clean the phone from water stains....

Chosen Solution I thought I had to remove body to change the hard drive so I unscrewed the side screws (2 each side) and the top which had 4 screws to remove ( 2 screws each on left and right top corner).. but each 2 sets of screws are different sizes and I forgot where the sets go in it’s proper place … any chance anyone can help me put the screws back where it belongs?...

Chosen Solution After pushing the on button it takes 15-20 seconds before the chime, and the apple/progress bar appears (on a black screen). Then at the end of progress bar it shuts off and reboots. It will not recognize any keyboard. I have tried multiple keyboards, wired and wireless, apple and non apple, none will connect. Without a keyboard I can’t use any shortcuts to reset anything, or get into target mode (which is what I am wanting to do, so I can clone it from another iMac)....

The write-protect screw is on the motherboard, so you may have to flip the Chromebook over on its back and open it with a screwdriver. Chosen Solution Hi I had to replace the screen on my 18month old iPhone XS Max after the OE battery swelled and cracked it from the rear. The screen was still functioning (including the digitiser, but the LCD started to bleed. I replaced it with an OEM screen and the battery with an aftermarket battery. I transferred the serials from the old components to the new ones and the features such as True Tone and 3D Touch appear to work ok, but the battery is showing “Service” but functions as the original did when new....

Chosen Solution Will a iPhone 5s gold lcd/digitizer screen work on a silver iPhone 5s? Also the home button and camera already pre installed Yes. If you want your Home Button Touch ID to work you will have to transfer the Original Home Button that came with the iPhone however. Otherwise the screens are identical. Yes that will work just fine. If you use the home button that is already installed on the other screen then the touch ID won’t work (The rest of the features of the home button will work fine however) so if you want to retain your touch ID functionality then you will need to take the home button from the original screen as they are serialized and assigned to the phone and aren’t interchangeable....

Chosen Solution have an iPhone 6s which came in with no power, upon plugging it in it bootloops. Remove the cable and it dies. Under thermal cam the Charging Ic is what flashes but i dont have a reason to believe the charging ic is bad. Any help would be appreciated! Update (08/25/2021) on the DCPS it goes upto an AMP of current and then dies it might be a battery problem since they are notorouis for having bad batteries and apple even has a replacement program for them I hope this information was helpful

Chosen Solution So, my iPhone is frozen and it’s on the lockscreen only . I’m able to only press the home botton but I can’t touch the screen at all . So when I tried to reset my whole iPhone I couldn’t because I have to allow some stuff from my iPhone but the problem is that I can’t put my password in. Chosen Solution Hi Community, Recently I was fixing an iphone 6 plus that had water damage, i took it full apart and cleaned it with isoproply and replaced the charging port, battery and screen. After that the phone tuned on and worked perfectly, however after a week the phone would not turn back on after the battery had been fully drained. I replaced the battery and this fixed the problem however now i am having the same problem but i tested the charging port and battery and both are working fine....
