Chosen Solution Both my keyboard and touchpad aren’t working ,thought it was a hardware issue till I booted my computer to an error screen and the touchpad worked fine,I can’t log in or anything.Any advice? Since we have no idea what model this is it is hard to diagnose it. I’d recommend trying an external usb mouse and keyboard if that is an option on this unknown model. If you can get in to the device you may be able to clear the drivers that are faulty to fix this issue....
Chosen Solution I have replaced the main board and the t-con board but still no picture. Powers on and I can click and hear sound. no back light when I do the flashlight test. Once in a while when I power on I get a quick glimpse of tcl image but then goes black… I purchased 9/2019 and because i can’t produce receipt tcl won’t honor warranty. I tested it to make sure it worked before reassembling and now when I try to charge the phone it will not work or it only works intermittently. To answer your question of is it normal, no it is not. The battery is probably defective, so I would return the battery to wherever you got this battery. iFixit rigorously tests their parts and sources their parts from only reputable vendors, so if you have gotten your defective battery elsewhere besides iFixit I would give iFixit’s battery a try....
