Chosen Solution Months ago my MSI Optix g24c monitor started making these lines at the bottom when I woke it from sleep mode and it would slowly warm up and go away, a couple days ago I moved my monitor off my table to put a new mouse pad on and when plugging it in I noticed there was no display, when fiddling with the cords to see if I plugged them in all the way I noticed that it would turn on if I shook the display a bit/wiggled the power cord a certain way but now it rapidly flashed brighter as well as the horizontal lines at the bottom that went away after a while, this continued to happen every time I powered on the display for the next couple days until the monitor died....

Chosen Solution I replaced the left joy con stick and it responds going up and down but not left to right? Update (01/13/2023) To add, before I replaced it, it was not going left or right. Replaced it and still does the same thing. Hello! Does the joystick still move freely? Or are you meeting resistance when you try to move it? I’d recommend using the built in joystick calibration in the switch settings as it helps with most joystick related issues, however if you aren’t able to push the joystick all the way to each side, the problem is likely either debris between the joystick and the front panel, or the case being screwed together too tightly....

Unfortunately, the removed battery should be checked before making a decision to replace it (at least because of ecology). Your iPhone was losing power possibly due to an electronic failure. Connect the meter and check. The battery may have been affected and may therefore be unusable for further use....

Chosen Solution Hi everyone - my ICF-C1 clock radio runs fast, gaining about 1 minute and 20 seconds every month. I cannot locate a schematic for this clock radio, so I am unsure if I can modify an RC/crystal circuit to adjust the timing or whether this uses the 60hz mains frequency as a reference. Chosen Solution I have a Apple iMac “Core 2 Duo” 2.8 24-Inch (Early 2008) that won’t boot. I don’t think it’s the power supply, because I get a brief whirring of fans (and about two seconds of the optical drive spinning up) before it fails to boot. Chosen Solution Hi Guys. OK i have a Samsung Galaxy S5 which has never had a screen replaced or ever been damaged. When it was brought in it was just a blank screen the phone is on as i can hear when it rings gets messages ETC it also vibrates too. I took the battery off so i could restart it it does start up & comes up with the Samsung Galaxy S5 start up graphic then loops sometimes 5 times sometimes 6 then the screen goes black....

It either shows “connecting” or it says “no internet, secured”. Sometimes internet connection is ok but most of the time not. Chosen Solution I bought a used, refurbished 160GB 7th Gen iPod Classic last year. One day it suddenly started crashing constantly and now will crash instantly if it’s not charging. Chosen Solution Looking to purchase a new screen and digitizer assembly, however i have purchased one before from another supplier and found the color reproduction & brightness was not as good. It also didn’t work with polarized glasses. So i’m curious to know if the ifixit OEM screen suffers from the same issues, or if its true to the original display? Nobody can guarantee they can get reliable source for “real” OEM screens as Apple don’t sell them publicly, OEM suppliers face legal consequences if they sell Apple screens themselves....
