Chosen Solution After replacing a failed battery with an ifixit one, the computer wakes up, but does not light its internal screen after the lid has been shut once. The computer does “wake up” and this can be proved by connecting an external monitor. Notably, if you look in Preferences –> Display, the computer does not seem to even know it has an internal screen after re-opening, just the external one appears....

Chosen Solution My iPad backlight turns off after the Apple logo. What can I do? I replaced the broken digitizer and noticed that the mic didn’t work, so I didn’t glue the digitizer (iPad lives in Survivor case) until I got the replacement. After six months of working perfectly fine (with no mic), I installed the replacement and then the backlight stopped working. Works fine for 30 seconds and then turns off....

With all the outside either shattered or smashed, and as I was looking online I noticed that the screen and other parts are quite expensive. Chosen Solution Hi, is this the iPhone 7 IC? Broken screen vs replacement non Apple screen. There’s hundreds or even more of IC’s inside a device. I assume you are referring to the touch IC. Yes the original, refurbished screens use the OEM / original IC’s while the aftermarket screens use the aftermarket IC’s. Edit: The touch ic is on the LCD flex ribbon cable while the 3d touch ic is behind the backlight of the screen....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve replaced the screen on my iphone XS, but the problem is that the screen kinda sticks out in the top right, and won’t sit correctly all the way down, what can I do to make it sit right? Most likely one of the metal prongs that sits on the screen got stuck near that area. Removing the screen and putting it back on more carefully will hopefully do the trick....

Chosen Solution I need to replace my 13 inch 2019 A2159 Macbook screen, and I would like to try and do it myself to cut costs. I’ve read countless times of people online who did this and then afterwards the True Tone didn’t work, or the brightness sensor, or the Touch Bar stayed on permanently etc… Some people say these things only work with the original screen connected to it’s original device and that Apple has made it somehow that once you connect a new screen you lose some of the functionality of these things....

Chosen Solution Same with mine but it has light and when I try to turn on it makes a pop noise .help?? @vmac2321 you will need to let us know what make and model your TV is. After that you also want to remove the back off your TV and take a look at the boards. check for any obviously damaged parts like leaking, domed looking capacitors etc. Try to isolated where the popping noise comes from....

Chosen Solution It istantly stoped working. No power. Can I fix it? I have the same problem, i tried to repair it myself but i advice you to contact to the JBL don’t disassemble your speaker they will help you, if you still have guarantee you are good than, if not they will tell you the price after inspecting the speaker it’s up to you. First declip with a little flat screwdiver, next the buttons and at the other side. pull this all element on the direction of the inscription jbl ! Chosen Solution Starts fine when brake is manually depressed when I let it off the engine dies. I strapped the switch shut but pto will not engage I would suspect a problem with the seat “safety” switch. These switches normally open when you stand up to get off the machine and thereby result in engine shutdown. It could also be that the leads to this switch have come loose or been cut somehow....

Chosen Solution long time lurker, first time poster! My mother spilled coffee on her 2014 macbook air, and thus it wouldn’t turn on. Power cord turns orange and then green as normal. My father ordered a new battery, handed it to me and said put this in i think it will work. I put in the new battery, and still it wouldn’t power on. We bought them a new machine, but this macbook air is in otherwise solid condition and seems too nice to give up on if I can get it running....

Chosen Solution keeps rebooting ,optimizing app 135 Hi, It may be that a downloaded app is causing the problem. Try starting the tablet in safe mode to check that it starts up OK without rebooting. If it does then a downloaded app is the problem. The trick is to find out which one. If you have just recently installed or updated some downloaded apps and then the problem started try uninstalling them first, one by one....

Chosen Solution So I saw a lot of people without any answers having the same problem: I have a 1.6GHz MacBook Air A1237, and apparently it kernel panics with “Invalid Backlight Duty Cycle” in the log whenever I turn the brightness all the way up. I was wondering if maybe the display wasn’t the right one, maybe one for the late 2008 put in a early 2008 enclosure? And what could I do to fix it?...
