Chosen Solution My imac crashed and trying to reboot I get the file icon with a question mark flashing. Tried the disk repare application from the recovery mode (command R). But no success. Imac can’t find the startup disk. Ho can I recuperate the data? Not much backing up done lately… Thanks. You’ll need to create a bootable external drive. Use the recovery services to format and install the OS onto an external drive (make sure you don’t select the wrong drive here) once the external is setup use the startup command Option (⌥) to select the external drive....
Chosen Solution We have a iMac EMC 2546 in repair. The iMac boots and goes into the login screen. After we enter the password the iMac tries to login but halfway through the loading bar it stops and reboots automatically. It also reboots automatically if we try to enter the Recovery mode (normal & internet) and safe mode. We have tried a PRAM & SMC reset. Swapped the memory. And even tried another HDD and SSD....
Chosen Solution iMac does not boot after repair Hi, Because the GPU was not working properly i decided to switch it for a new one. I chose a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M. Replacing the card was easy and using a USB drive to boot into linux and using SSH to flash the card worked perfect. The 3 led’s on the logic board where on! Chosen Solution I have a 4S and its a strange issue, it doesn’t recognise any SIM card 99% of the time. By this i mean tonight i have removed the board and using compressed air and pure alcohol cleaning solution to try and clean the SIM area and it worked!, right up until i removed the SIM card to try another. Before i did this i had nothing recognised. I don’t know if i should try a different SIM reader, my abilities don’t stretch that far so will have to pay....

Chosen Solution Hello, Recently I replaced the lcd + digitizer on an iPhone 7. After a test everything works, but after a while the iPhone locks up while using: the screen freezes (still showing everything) but the digitizer doesn’t seem to be reacting. The only thing that works is a soft reset ( power down + wake). After reboot the iPhone works again. But the problem returns so a soft reset is needed again....
Chosen Solution I recently dropped a few water droplets on my macbook pro trackpad (wet hand). This is no exaggeration, it was literally a couple of water droplets. I guess i didn’t dry it properly, because a couple of hours later my macbook pro’s trackpad and keyboard stopped working (except for a the home button and sometimes the back quote key will work). When I went to apple a few days later I got a diagnostic and turns out there is “water damage” with corrosion and I need a logic board replacement with a ridiculous cost of 750+....

If I charge it while it’s on, instead of charging up, it charges backwards if that makes sense. Also, it will only charge in a certain position. Chosen Solution I have a Lenovo Ideatab A1000L & it has a screen-side camera. I want to plug in & use an external webcam (I’m using an old IBM UltraPort webcam from a laptop + an adapter) to minimize my having to angle myself to get a proper picture or video. Is there a driver available? You may have better luck by looking for USB Webcam apps in the Google Play Store to see which one works with your camera....

Chosen Solution I have a Kenmore series 500 (model W10240534 ) washer. For the 2 months, it has began to stop automatically progressing to the spin cycle. When I set the dial to regular or heavy load, it begins normally, lid locks and it senses, fills and washes. It will rinse and drain, but sometimes it will sit on spin (green light indicates spin), the lid is not locked and it will not do anything until we cancel it, manually move the dial to drain/spin and push start....
Chosen Solution Got a MacBook Pro 2016 with Touchbar (A1706) second hand from a friend of mine and we formatted it together and after formating the keyboard stopped working. It doesn’t even work on boot (eg. I can’t boot to recovery or reset SMC). Could it be that there is a problem on the software side or did something hardware wise break and it was unlinked to the format? The Touch Bar works with no problems as well the Trackpad....

I watched Druaga1’s video on it called “Risking it all - SE/30 Floppy replacement.” Is there a way for me to make it work after the Floppy Replacement? If so, YAY! If you follow the official service manual that can be found with some googling, then why not. I’ve done it a few times myself on these machines with no problem. The only major risk is breaking the CRT on the neck itself if you don’t remove the neck board (just pulls straight)....

Please help. i really like my camera Try to format the SD Card with the Camera. You should find “formatting” in the menu. The camera can only support an SD card up to 1 GB, this is most likely why the card error message is received....
