Chosen Solution Was given a MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015) 7,2 The screen will go blank, the keyboard backlighting stops. and the keyboard goes dead. If I delicately wiggle/flex the screen vs. the body, it will come back to life again. This sounds like the cable through the hinge is at fault. Is it replaceable? What part#, etc? I bet you the issue is at the logic board displace connector. Corrosion on the solder joints is likely....

Chosen Solution I came home the other day to see my MacBook Pro had the folder icon with ? on the screen.. I called Apple and they said they thought the SSD HD had failed… but to go into an Apple store to confirm. I went into the Apple store and they confirmed a failed SSD HD and they recommended I purchase a new one and install it myself. I installed the new SSD HD and the computer still didn’t recognize it....

By doing this I discovered that when the front and back cameras are connected, the phone becomes very slow and after about 3-5 min suddenly turns off. Chosen Solution I couldn’t find a reasonably priced mid2015 screen so I started looking for early2015 ones and I found it for waaay cheaper, The problem is I’m not sure if it’s going to work :( does it? Looks like iFixit lists the display for Early-2015 through 2017, so it should be compatible.

Chosen Solution I’ve had my Timbuk2 mini messenger bag for about 5 years and I’ve noticed the inside is getting cracked at the fold of the main flap. I’d like to find out if there is a recommended method of patching it to reinforce the integrity of the bag so that it will last longer. I was thinking of using duct tape to do so, but I’m hesitant to do it without reaching out to you to see if there is a better way to do it to insure that your product lasts longer as I really love this little bag....

Is the dishwasher safe to run or should I turn it off until the hot water heater is repaired? My dishwasher will not run if I shut the hot water line off. Chosen Solution I was wondering if anyone has replaced the front camera/face unlock assembly? If so, is it serialized like the iPhones? Or can you replace it, and it still work? As far as I know it shouldn’t be locked to the phone. If not I’m sure iFixit would’ve pointed it out. I recently changed the front camera with the full assembly. Chosen Solution Ribbon for power and volume button ripped need to power phone back up to get me through the next day or so I do not think so. The majority of phones can only be turned on with the power button. Sometimes the screen will turn on with a notification, so you could try that. Some phones as well allow for the screen to be double tapped to be turned on....

I did not give the techs my ipad passcode so i know it wasnt from the company. why do you think it restored on its own Magic! Chosen Solution I put an new display on my iPhone 7 and I stripped a few screws and finally got them out. I bought a bunch of replacement screws and I think I put the longer screws in. As a result the screws come through the screen! Is there a easier fix for this than changing the whole dang screen?!! If you look closely you can see little white circles. I believe the screw was too long or too right is there like a filler of some black stuff I can inject in it to hide it?...
