Chosen Solution Hey, I brought my iPad refurbished, however it only charged with one side of the charger and took awhile to charge, but the battery lasted a normal amount. However my iPad got fully battery drained and when I put it on charge it shows the charging icon for a second or two then goes black and after 20 seconds it does it again. Just wondering if anyone knew what would be need to be replaced, thank you in advance....
Chosen Solution I have an Ipad Air and i have fitted a new battery and digitiser for it. I decided to do a test of the ipad to see if the new battery and digitiser worked and while the ipad does turn on, it turns off shortly if I drop it from a small height of around a cm or so. It does not do this if i apply pressure to where the LED connector and digitiser connector shield is, is this a result of improperly fitting something or do I simply need to apply the digitiser adhesive and seal the iPad once and for all since that might apply enough pressure across the entire LED?...
Chosen Solution I’ve already asked this in the http://meta.ifixit.com/ section, but in case more, or other, people check in here at the Answers section (and because this could be considered a repair question), I’d like to post it here too: It would be nice if someone could do this experiment that might answer some questions about the iPhone 4 antenna’s lower left side’s no-touch zone problem, or maybe even fix it: since touching the gap between the two antennas at the top of the phone doesn’t cause signal loss, move the wire that connects the logic board to the left-side Bluetooth etc....
Chosen Solution I managed to successfully flash iOS 6 onto an iPhone 4s and it worked fine. I then had to put the back cover on and put a few covers back and when I was doing that, I accidently shorted the battery positive to the case. It was only for a fraction of a second and judging by the location, shouldn’t have harmed anything. Even so the battery is pretty much dead anyway....

We used it for a couple of hours, then turned it off, since we knew the directions from there. When we arrived at home the phone was off and wouldn’t turn on. Chosen Solution My iPhone 7 ear speaker sound crackling i replaced the audio IC & checked with another speaker still problem wasn’t solved and also headphones not recognising bottom speaker & microphone working fine what I need to repair to fix this issue Did you touch this part iPhone 7 Earpiece Speaker if you did that can damage it so you would need to replace it. Change and check the earspeaker this may solve your problem....
Chosen Solution Hello, After a screen replacement, the device did not charge properly and it was stuck at 3% with charging symbol so I replaced the charging port and got a new battery while I was at it. After that, the device only shows 1% without a charging symbol even when plugged it. I thought the charging port may be faulty since I got I got the charging port from the same company that provided me two DoA screens so I went ahead and got another charging port from a different company and changed it again....
Chosen Solution Iphone 4 screen is black, I was listening music and it just shut off. It still rings tho.my power button is stuck so i was using the dot thingy on the screen. Chosen Solution iPod was working fine, put it in back pocket of jeans, took it out later, an nothing. Won’t turn on an nothing happens when I plug it in to charge it! Not a Happy Camper!! here’s what you do. if your device stops working like that,hold the home button and the power button at the same time for a few seconds.the apple logo will eventually show up. don’t worry your apps will still be there....

I connected my laptop through HDMI and it works well (I’m working on it now), but the screen is still black. Keyboard blacklight works as well. The Facetime camera works. I restored everything on my iPhone because it had a load of music and just stuff I did t want. Then when I went through the set up after restoring it the phones asks me for my old email and password. Chosen Solution I’d like a longer title but it doesn’t appear to be allowed. So i’m looking to repair my USB DAC because it does not receive power unless the USB port is pushed in a certain direction. So I’m thinking that the solder points have broken. I have taken it apart, however looking at the back and wobbling the connection I don’t see any movement, so I think that the solder between the port and the connection point is whats broken, but due to other things on the PCB I can’t get a good look (and it doesn’t wobble much, theres 2 connections holding it in place so the other must still be good, probably wobbles maybe 0....
