Chosen Solution I have a 5s a customer brought in w/ severe water damage to lcd flex area and no power. After I went through my usual regiment of solvents, the mobo is now clean(See before and after pics) and it powers on. Everything works except there is no image on LCD. I have tried the original, along with 2 brand new LCD’s, but still no image. It may be the backlight, or whatever controls the LCD image....

Chosen Solution What replacement part(s) are required for fix the GPS on iPhone 7, where it does not lock location? The WiFi works fine. There are many possibilities. Have you done the obvious? Check settings,make sure apps have access all the time just to make sure? Have you factory eraser the phone and set it up as new to eliminate typical software variables? Does the gyro sensor and accelerometer work? You can check this in the compass app usually....
Chosen Solution Hi all Have here an Iphone 7 which was dropped in the bath (kids!!) took it apart and cleaned motherboard amongst other parts with osyprinal and replaced the screen, all cam back to life and no issues for a few months, until now she dropped the phone which did not damage the screen in any way, however the screen is showing lines now, touch still works, I have changed the screen to see if that would sort it out but still with the same issue, see attached....

I ignored it until a few weeks ago when a ball hit my phone hard and my screen broke. It still turned on and worked but there was lcd bleed all over. Chosen Solution I accidentally ordered the iPhone SE 2020 replacement battery for my iPhone SE 1st gen. Can I use it in my 1st gen phone? It will not. The battery for the iPhone SE 2020 is quite a bit larger, so it will not fit, and it uses a different battery connector than the original SE does.

When I received the phone I didn’t bother to turn the phone on, I disassembled the phone completely and did a clean on the phone with mg99% iso. There was no sign of corrosion on the back part of the board it was mainly on the digitizer and lcd and camera connections. So after about an hour or so of cleaning I left the board to fully dry....

I felt a sweet smell, and ran out to the balcony. Are the chemicals, that came out any dangerous? Yes, extremely. It can start to burn or explode. Chosen Solution Vizio e60-e3 Hi guys i have been trying to fix this tv for a few weeks now first the leds shorted causing heat stress to the plug from main to power stips for leds so i repaced the leds and main board once i did that i have light and the logo screen comes on and glitches off in a second and it keeps doing this as pluged in so i removed ones side of tcon board and i get jagged colored horizontal lines insted of blank white on the one side so i am pretty sure i have a damaged screen now right?...

I was thinking about getting them wet and blow-drying them on high but I was concerned it wouldn’t do anything because the cuffs were oversized new. Chosen Solution Yesterday, i had dropped my phone on concrete (with a case) and the screen had cracked. I checked to see if my phone had life and it didnt turn on. I tried a hard reset by holding the power and home button for 30 seconds and the phone was still unresponsive. I put it on the charger for 30 mins and it was still unresponsive. Ive also tried connecting it to a computer to see if it would be recognized and still nothing....

Here’s how I got around it: If the “Settings have Stopped” error is preventing the phone from being setup: Go through Setup adding the Google account login, continue until you get to the point of the error. Turn off the phone, take out the SD card and the SIM card....
