Chosen Solution Hi all I have this a1708 I’m trying to fix. It’s a crazy one on testing it the ssd was not recognised at all but the system would boot fine from an OS on my external hard drive. I orderd a used ssd for this model from ebay, installed it and it showed up no problem installed os from Internet recovery and all seemed well. Chosen Solution Ipad shutdown even when the battery is charge. @rono75 if it is still the original battery, it is possible that the battery no longer holds a decent charge. It will look like it is fully charged but that will only last for a short time. I’d replace the battery first. That way you have a known-well starting point should further troubleshooting be necessary.

I tried hard reset, reset network settings and it’s not helpful. And my iPhone 4 has a better range then iPhone 5. It could be your wifi antenna.
