Chosen Solution Following the iFixit instructions (and with a helpful hint from Dan), I managed to replace the original WD hard drive in my EMC 2389 21.5 inch iMac. I put in a new WD 1Tb drive and added 4Gb RAM. As far as I could tell, all connectors were replaced correctly. But when I pressed the start button and held down Command / R, nothing happened. The external drive on which Time Machine is installed blinked repeatedly (three flashes then rest), but nothing else....

Chosen Solution I shot an entire session in raw form on my canon 5d mark ii. When I plug my cf card in EVERY file shows as jpeg….I’m very confused here. The cf card and camera I’ve had for years, this is a first time for me. hi My theory is that your files are indeed in RAW. but your image viewer app automatically views them as JPG, To check this try putting the card back to your camera and checking the file type from there, it should still show RAW....

Chosen Solution I tore up my microphone cable trying to upgrade the CPU on my 2017 27" iMac. I got a new microphone/cable. The problem now is, I do not know which side gets glued to the aluminum frame. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sadly, we don’t have any repair guides that offer any details on the microphone cables placement. The cable should already have on it double sides tape so it can be secured....

Chosen Solution the power button is not switching on the tab and the volume control is not working also. Hi @olami , Do you mean that the tablet turns off or just that the screen turns off? If the screen turns off , go into settings and find the display time out setting and adjust it to suit whatever time you want. If the tablet turns off, try using it with the power adapter connected and see if the tablet stays on

Chosen Solution Hi there!!, my best wishes for a wonderful day to all of you reading me :) , I was just wondering if there´s someone that have experienced before the same situation: My iMac 7,1 doesn´t run if is cold ( for example circa 16ºC), sometimes I have to try several times, normally I just put it out in the sun for awhile, or just use an electric heater if is winter time…, then it runs, ( sometimes several times trying needed, plugin and unplugin the power cord …, with the heater directed to it....

Chosen Solution The jewel inserted in the head phone port on my Samsung 10.5 tablet was broken off by a fall. How can I remove the remaining black part of the pin that is still in the port? I opened the back and tried to reach it, but it seems to be capsuled in. you can use a q-tip or a hallow pen with a bit of crazy glue and wait 2 hours to dry and remove the broken plug out....

Chosen Solution I have this iPad that charges and works fine. But as soon as the battery percentage goes to 0. It won’t charge anymore. There must be a motherboard problem. What component should I replace? With these details we can’t exactly help or at least describe but if you go to Apple they replace the charger and inspect the product its self. I was thinking that if it has some sort of overlapping ridge on the charger that is it problem and you must go to Apple for that or else your iPad will become bro land you won’t be able to access it....

Chosen Solution I have an iphone 3 and i locked myself out of it, it tells me to connect to itunes so i can reset my phone. But when i connect it to itunes it said that it isn’t connected as it’s locked with a passcode (a thingI ALREADY KNOW!) and that i must enter passcode before it can be used with Itunes! Chosen Solution Is the iPhone 6 64gb model thicker than a 16gb? I recently did a color conversion housing on my 64gb and the screen doesn’t want to sit down all the way. Chosen Solution Hi guys, a couple weeks ago I tried replacing my iPhone 5 screen. Fortunately, it went well. The iPhone worked for a week. After that week my iPhone 5 started acting strange. It started randomly darkening the screen, making the colours more intense and displaying “fainted” images in the back. Simultaneously, it also won’t respond to touch. If I hit the Phone on it’s back, the brightness will turn normal and the screen looks perfectly fine....

Chosen Solution iPhone 7 plus upper screen won’t touch, i already did the hard reset and still wont touch, any suggestions to fix this? Has the phone been dropped. Have you kept it in your front or back pocket in tight clothes and sat down on it? You probably damaged the LCD/digitizer. Put a new screen on it and you should be fine.

I know it’s a pain since it’s several GBs, but reinstall the game. Then, go into the game’s audio settings and make sure the volume is turned up, (mine got locked at 0) Also, are you using headphones of any kind?...

Chosen Solution Hi, I’m attempting to fix a dropped iPhone X model A1902 on a fresh clean iOS 15.1 Front and rear cameras (1x and telephoto), flashlight and faceiD don’t work. The phone didn’t break externally, and I don’t see anything obviously broken on the logic board (connectors, resistors, screws looks fine). Chosen Solution The issue with my iPhone X ear speaker is when i’m on a call the callers voice is very distorted and you cannot understand them as the sound isn’t clear. I have soldered a new speaker piece but made no difference. I also put a whole new flex from a working iPhone X but that also made no difference. Here’s an image of internals Both the RAM and Flash SSD are high density BGA chips and as the board is so dense it is impossible to alter it without damage! It would also cost more than buying a new system! It’s somewhat possible as long as Apple didn’t write down the memory configuration encrypted. However you’ll be dealing with package-level soldering rework, which is a whole new game, even more difficult than previous versions where RAM chips are soldered onto the logic board....

Chosen Solution (First time asking here) So I’m building my first computer, but I’ve reached a snag: I can’t figure out how to fit extra fans in the positions at the top of the inside case. I’ve tried positioning fans between below the metalwork at the top but the screws are small enough that they dont screw in and instead just sit in the holes loosely. The only other way I can see of positioning the fans is between the top of the case and the inner metalwork but I would only be able to reach that if the top was removable....

You can only see it when the screen is black like when playing a video or editing a photo with a black background.
