Chosen Solution I want to check the size of the SSD part of my Fusion Drive and if it makes sense to install a bigger SSD. I have a 3TB Fusion Drive and I suppose there is an 128GB SSD installed. Does it make sense to put in a 500 GB SSD as I have one left from upgrading my MacBook Air. Chosen Solution Ipad 8th Gen 10.2 removed working screen (but broken) - LCD was broke but turned on and digitizer shattered. I removed digitizer and LCD took an LCD used but verified working in another ipad I couldn’t fix due to hardware failure. I removed digitizer, removed LCD disconnected all cables, reconnected LCD and also reconnected digitizer, when holding power button it doesn’t come on. Also, when plugged into the PC it doesn’t appear to recognize the A2270 ipad that I am replacing LCD/Digitizer on....

The phone can read and unlock SIM cards but can’t find service. Everything else works fine. The bend was near the SIM reader. Can the SIM reader cause the phone to not be able to find service? Or is it a logic board problem? The iPhone 12 has the soldered 5G antenna....

But I got 3 big problems Touch ID is not working, restoring is just working in recovery mode but not in dfu mode and the third and biggest problem is, the phone is turning off at 30%, tries to restart immediately but fails. Chosen Solution I put too much trust in a lifeproof case and ended up with fresh water damage from a waterfall. I have the device disassembled and it doesn’t look too bad inside. There was a little corrosion on the taptic module, but otherwise all connectors look clean. The device powers on, shows the apple logo, goes black, and repeats. I can do a hard power off, put the device into recovery mode, and dfu mode....
Chosen Solution Hi there, I got weird iPhone Xr - it does not have TrueTone option in Settings AND it does NOT have “Important Display Message”. If it would be replaced - I would have that message OR - if replaced and TrueTone flashed with programmer - I would have TrueTone AND “Important Display Message”. Any chance you know what is happening? Additionally Auto Brightness works in my Xr - where in my other iPhone 11 where I flashed TrueTone data from original cracked display - TrueTone works - NO auto brightness - and “Important Display Message”....

JOHNDOUGH100 the center button is actually nothing but a plastic piece that sits in the center of the click wheel and when pushed on depresses a microswitch on the logic board. Sometimes the center button plastic does no longer make good contact with the switch....
Chosen Solution My iPod 5th gen enhanced won’t play content anymore. All the buttons and click wheel are functioning, the iPod syncs with iTunes on my PC and I can play the content with iTunes. When I press the play button, the play icon illuminates and pressing again shows the pause icon but the elapsed time/time remaining counters and progress bar don’t move/change. All buttons and click wheel pass their tests in iPod Diagnostics....

Since the charging port is soldered onto the motherboard, would I need amazing soldering skills to replace it? Yes, it is possible, the microphone is really close, cover it when you are applying heat. You can’t see the pins when you are removing and installing the new port, so you need to do a clean job and all pads needs to have the same amount of tin....
