Chosen Solution I’m using the iFixit Jimmy. I’ve heated the watch till it’s too hot to touch, pressed downward with all my might using the curved part of the blade as stated, but it still doesn’t seem to budge. I don’t know if the blade is even able to get into the gap. Someone help? Were you using this guide? Chosen Solution Right away, this is different than any other thread I’ve found. I was replacing the ipad 3 glass/digitizer. Everything seemed to be working normal, so I laid it in the frame. On final testing there was a slight phantom touch along the bottom. I reset the unit, but it did not resolve. I pulled the glass out of the frame, and it continued. I reseated the digitizer cable, and again it continued....

Chosen Solution I have a broken iPhone 7 Plus and i tried to fix it and forgot to disconnect the battery (fully discharged) before the screen cable (the screen flew out but the cable still connected to the logic board) it’s not ideal. it’s always best to disconnect the battery first and reconnect the battery last. even if the battery is fully discharged, there may still be some residual power circulating through the circuits....

I can only go into guest mode as it won’t let me log into my account. This is due to the keyboard only making symbols. Chosen Solution So I was going to replace the back on my iPad and as I was removing the huge amounts of adhesive that the battery was stuck to, the battery started to make a weird smell. So I stopped immediately and put the thing down for risk of explosion or fire. I noticed that I had accidentally punctured the little bridge between the 1st and 2nd battery. What I want to know is A) Can I keep the batteries in my house disconnected and out of direct sunlight in a ziploc safely and not have a risk of explosion or fire, B) How should I dispose of the battery, because I don’t want to just throw it in the trash if it could cause a fire or something, and C) are the fumes that I inhaled toxic in any way....
