Is it safe or should I not use it? The pic is quite blurry, but that looks like an inductor coil. Using it like that will not pose any health danger for yourself. But the part seems to be missing the core, so I doubt that it will serve its purpose in the circuit and as such using the board might cause additional damage....
Chosen Solution MagSafe charger LED turns from Green to AmberReset SMC, MagSafe LED change to Green and back to AmberPress power button for 10 seconds and press again still will not turn onOpen the back cover, disconnect the battery and still will not turn onCharged over night, the MagSafe LED stays Amber! Everything was working perfectly fine before except it didn’t charge, turns out there was a lot of crap in the charging port so when I cleaned it out it charged and worked perfectly When I went to restore it gets halfway through and returns error -1 i can’t seem to find any info about this erorr online does anybody have any ideas?...

Chosen Solution Boots with system floppy but Keyboard and mouse not responsive. I do get an icon near the bottom of the screen that looks like ADB with an “X” by it. Thoughts? What System floppy are you using? It might be too new or not addressing the ROM properly. Also you could have a dirty ADB port. Knowing how old it is it could have some corrosion on the female or male side of the keyboard that is not letting it connect....

So after replacing it, I closed my Notebook and connected every ribbon cable properly but then I got a bad surprise! My Notebook did not turn not. I tried to buy a new ribbon cable for the power button but I wasn’t able to sort out this problem since even with the new cable the PC doesn’t turn on....

Chosen Solution My Whirlpool side by side refrigerator after working fine for years suddenly started malfunctioning. The ice despencer activates on its own after the freezer door is closed by anyone retrieving an item from freezer. Sometimes it comes on immediately after closing door other times it waits a few minutes. I replaced the mother board as suggested by someone and it did not help. It actually made it worse. So I put old mother board back ....

Chosen Solution It was difficult to tell, based on the breakdown of the Smart Battery Case (for iPhone 6/6S) whether or not there was room to delicately sand/drill/or otherwise manipulate the case to expand the hole in the Smart Battery Case. The purpose being to allow for plugs (even slightly) larger than the original Apple EarPods Earbud Earphones with Mic mini-jack plug? I don’t want to break the device, and I’m too concerned about voiding the warranty (if one exists on the item), however, it is nearly unusable with any cables/cords other than the original Apple ones....

So when I received the item, I place the logic board in isopropyl 91% alcohol and let it evaporate for a couple of days. Then I replaced the charging port and the battery of the phone. Chosen Solution I torn out the home button flex cable for the screen is there anyway I can replace it Unfortunately you will need to purchase another screen. They are not easy to repair and I doubt you would find a microsolderer that would do it. If you did the repair would cost more than the screen.

Chosen Solution I have been repairing iphones in my business for 3 years now. Yesterday I replaced the screen and digitizer on an Iphone 8 plus. The home button was intact and functioning on the original screen. After the repair when I tested the phone, the home button would not respond to the “click” function. I realize that the iphone 7 and 8 no longer have an actual button, but they do vibrate to give the feeling of a click and the function is still there, to return to home and double click to close apps....
Chosen Solution Hello, I can try and be of assistance. So as it is not restarting when front camera is disconnected - I would assume there is a problem round here. Check all pins (send a picture of pins on logic board if you like). Also, maybe try a different screen replacement, it could be a faulty screen (potentially drawing more power than it should). I also have similar problem when the volume is increased to maximize while watching a video on my iPhone XS it reboot....
