Chosen Solution I have a MacBook Pro mid 2010. works amazing I only upgraded the memory from 2 and 2 to 4 and 4 not to long after it started ghost clicking and switching screen YouTube vid would pause and full screen then un full screen basically creating new folders opening files all sorts of things I noticed it did this when it started getting hot. so I want to change the battery because I got the service battery message and I read in other forums that it the thermal paste for the over heating and then some say the battery Is swelling which can tamper with the track pad and cause ghost clicks…....

I changed the PSU for a identic one (same part number) and in this moment I turn ON the iMac (witout screen and HDD) and I think that iMac turned ON correctly and fan and 3 leds were ON , but I’m not sure. Chosen Solution I did a “cowboy” job on this soon after I got it to add a larger SSD. Afterward I noticed that the internal mics only produce loud white noise. I don’t know if they worked before I voided the warranty (I don’t recall trying to use them). Just wondering if there’s something obvious I did to break them when I cracked the lid.

Chosen Solution After replacing a smashed digitizer the LCD has suffered a massive decrease in resolution. I thought it might be the new digitiser, but when I tested against the original, the resolution wax still rubbish. I haven’t been able to fix after cleaning both the digitiser and LCD connectors on the main board, and have no other thoughts. I followed the guide to the most part, and was shocked when I put it all back together....

Hi, If you connect the phone to this laptop for a first time, maybe you need drivers for it. Open “Device manager” and check for unknown device. You must have - Portable device>Apple iPhone. If not, install iTunes, this will fix the problem. If you have already installed iTunes on this laptop and you have an Apple device in the device manager, then try on another PC and with a different cable (to be sure where is the problem)....
Chosen Solution my iphone 7 was showing a “sim failure” error on the phone and would not connect to the carrier. thinking this was a software bug i installed 11.4.1 the phone never rebooted and is now stuck in recovery mode. When trying to recover the phone on itunes i get the error “iphone could not be restored an unknown error occurred (-1)” searching the web this appears to be a firmware issue....

Chosen Solution I’m replacing hard drive for this ipod. Cannot seem to get existing ribbon cable properly inserted into new hard drive with my fat fingers and the flexible ribbon. Does someone have some experience or advice for how to make this connection? @mario_and_laura make sure that you have the right drive for the cable. Stick with the same brand of drive that you had before. It is a bit of fidgeting but should not be that complicated....

The storage is eMMC flash memory and it is hard mounted on the system board and considered not to be upgradeable. An option to consider is to insert the largest capacity SD card that you can afford or want, in the laptop’s card reader slot and leave it there and use that as additional storage....

This would happen to our flip phone, but a much older model. I would buy the same model for parts and swap the pieces that I needed. Usually, I would find my replacements on eBay. Chosen Solution So, my mother left her phone out in the rain and it became water damage, go figure. when this happened the sim card reader decided to fail and would no longer read a sim. i would leave or put a new sim card in and it still would constantly be saying in the top left of the screen “searching”. Is there anyway i can bypass the sim activation screen so that i can atleast use it as an ipod of some sort?...
