Chosen Solution I got my hands on an old Imac 8.1. The screen in standard mode is however oversaturated. I get the same result when I connect een external monitor. I was able to get it a little bit better readable screen with calibration, attached 5 pictures. 2 with the oversaturated screen 2 with the same screens now corrected a bit. 1 from my Imac 14.2 with the same backgrounds to show the difference....

Chosen Solution I have a surface laptop, Gen 1 - Model 1769. I received it with a fresh windows install but keyboard and most drivers were not installed. I was able to update drivers for most things succesfully however whenever the Intel display driver is installed the screen goes blank and it isn’t possible to get it to display. I can fix temporarily by booting into safe mode and deleting the Intel driver....

Here’s what I did in order. Opened up the phone. Propped the screen at the 90 degree limit. Disconnected the battery Disconnected the Proximity flex, then LCD flex, then Digitizer flex. Chosen Solution Hi. I’ve recently replaced my iPhone 5S’s battery, which was an arduous process because it turns out my battery was forming lumps. In the end, I got it out, replaced it, and closed up the iPhone again. Upon trying to restore it (it had gone into a boot loop before and gotten stuck in the DFU Screen) iTunes gave me the dreaded error code -1. The repair went perfectly fine, but when trying to close it back up, the right bottom corner didn’t want to close all the way, also while applying pressure to try to get it in fully, there came a pressure spot on the display. Even after screwing in the pentalope screws, the display kept going up, this doesn’t happen with the old screen....

I was considering only changing the glass and leaving the LCD but I have read that it’s risky. I also don’t want to get ripped of on an aftermarket screen. Would anyone know if thats the pre-cat or post-cat? there’s no way to tell without the OBD-II code. If you don’t have it, your best bet is to go to an AutoZone or other auto mechanic and get them to run the diagnostic. They can give you the printout so that you can either purchase the specific parts from them online or elsewhere....

Chosen Solution A few weeks ago my phone got water damaged and it didnt seem too serious except that because of the cracks in the screen some black blobs appeared in the most cracked part of the screen. What I’m wondering is, if I buy a new digitizer and clean it, will the blobs still appear? Thanks The blobs are from the water going inside screen. Hi, Try using the tablet as close as possible (<30cm) to your WiFi network router and check if it now detects the WiFi network OK. If it does then there is an antenna problem in the tablet. If the problem has been there since the battery was replaced then perhaps the antenna became disconnected during the repair....
