Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 5s, I’ve had it for a few years rotting in my drawer. I dropped it in the toilet while the screen was falling apart, the screen is now dangling by a thread and the inside looks fine but I just want to know if I should try to fix the screen to see if it works. Since this was probably a rice phone, the phone is probably too far gone to repair....
Chosen Solution I tried a lot - measured the power board with a multimeter, bought a new power board (KB116WJQZ), measured power supply, baked the motherboard in the oven - nothing, no standby light, no power. I’m not quite ready yet to give up on the TV, so does anyone have any idea what to try next? Thanks @joejonson There has to be a voltage from the power board to the mainboard....
Chosen Solution I purchased a used Acer aspire 5552 without a charger. Purchased replacement charger. Plugged it in turned it on, have to reset Windows. I turned it off so I could reboot and now when I hit the power button the blue light on the power button comes on, I hear the laptop start (fans and drives) then it just shuts down. I was hoping after a good charge it would start but it still wont....
Chosen Solution Hello, This problem has only recently came up my phone keeps loosing signal and is saying ’ No Service’ but when I go on flight mode and come off I have 3G which doesn’t make sense because 5 mins later it goes back to No service, I have tried turning my phone off but its the same as flight mode it only lasts for a few minutes. Try reseting network settings, if that wont do you have bad antenna or baseband chip, try opening your phone and reconnecting your jacks....
Chosen Solution Hi, I am having some issues with my MBPr, The trackpad all of a sudden stopped working and the keyboard glitches out. I restored the computer to factory default, it did not help. Is the issue most likely the keyboard connector and trackpad connector disconnected or could it be that the whole top case was ruined somehow? Thanks, Check it for a swollen battery. Expanding on @Mayer’s answer, there’s a valid chance that it’s a swollen battery, or a faulty Trackpad....

A few months ago it started crashing from time to time and I am unable to type anything on it, but the keys are still all lit. After a restart, everything goes back to normal, but sometimes the fix only lasts 10 minutes and the keyboard crashes again....

Chosen Solution Similar issue with my LG. I tested voltage to the pump and the control board seems fine too.I made a video of how it’s not pumping water out. It makes rattling/clicking noise. When I drain the water out manually it makes just a humming sound and I also remove the pump from the housing it shows turning normally with torque. So I am stumped what to do here. https://youtu....

Chosen Solution my tablet is brand new along with my headphone jack speaker. The problem i’m having is that when I turn my sound up the tablet will start to skip and then turn the volume down real low (from like 10 to 5). I don’t understand why it’s doing this so if I could get some help I would really appreciate it. Try it with some headphones. If it doesn’t do it with them, then it’s your speaker....

Your camera will not remember the time and date without this battery. Here are the instructions from Canon on how to change it: Confirm that the camera power is turned off. Chosen Solution I have recently upgraded to El capitan, it crashed during upgrade and I had to erase the hard drive and start again from time machine back up My drive now looks like this? and is running very slow. . Where exactly did you delete the contents? (Disk Utility in the installer?) We really need to see output from diskutil list and diskutil cs list in Terminal, but it looks like you might have partitioned the drives again while erasing....
Chosen Solution I have on my hands a 2013 A1466. The firmware is Mavericks era. I’ve got a nvme SSD that obviously can only be seen by a Mojave installer. I’ve tried the trick to install to an external, but same thing happens as with the internal, “an error occurred while verifying firmware” after first reboot. I’ve probably done several other things I cant think of right now, but I’ve researched this til my eyes crossed and cant find a solution that works for me....

Chosen Solution iPhone 6 with broken screen changed for new screen and now hot home button, changed for another screen and back plate but still the same hot button issue. All connections triple checked. Only thing that may have effected it, the LCD including the home button from this phone was momentarily plugged into an other phone, iPhone 6s Plus, to test the screen before being fitted. Yes I now know that probably not a great idea in terms of potentially bricking the 6s Plus, (it didn’t) but why would it cause a problem with the physical iPhone 6 home button now getting hot?...
Chosen Solution My wife’s iPhone 6s recently started to sound very quite when she was talking with people. She thought it was just her, but I verified the low earpiece volume. Proximity sensor, front facing camera both work properly. I have tried multiple fixes. Changing language setting (En to UK and back). Replacing the earpiece, and cleaning the screen. It also has the most up to date iOS. Also, I have done the voice memo test to see if it works better, but unfortunately it is still the same low volume....
