Chosen Solution I have bought “iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit - Electronics, Smartphone, Computer & Tablet Repair Kit” in order to change my XPS 13 9350 battery. I successfully open the bottom case and able to open 2 screws at the right part of the battery. But I could not open the 2 screws on the left part of the battery (please see attached file with circle in red color). I have tried all head styles of iFixit, but none can open the screws....

Chosen Solution I have a problem with my vita where I cannot use my: dpad, R trigger, cross, circle square and triangle buttons in applications. I have tried to do the following; format my sd card thingy, rebuild the database and restore my settings to normal. open up ur vita and wash the shoulder buttons and the glue around them then it may work fine or if still doesnt work then take off the shoulder buttons Update my solution sounds stupid but trust me it works

Chosen Solution when installing new front struts do you remove nut holding spring after installation Depends on your parts and installation procedure. Absolutely DO NOT remove the nut! That nut, if we are talking about the same thing, should only be removed after using spring compressors in order to remove or replace a spring and extreme care must be taken to avoid personal injury. The nut also typically secures the main shaft of the plunger inside the strut tower that allows the strut to further dampen bumps from the road....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’m hoping someone can help with this. Back in March, my MBP switched itself off when I was exporting photos from Lightroom and then displayed a box with a question mark. However, a couple of weeks later when I randomly tried to boot it, it switched back on a few times but froze and turned off after a few minutes each time. I spoke to Apple Support who said this was my SSD and I did a few tests to check if this could be solved....

Chosen Solution I replaced it and it turned on then a screw from the earpiece fell out so I screwed it back in then after this the screen won’t come on I do not know what’s happened to it. I don’t think it’s charging either someone help please. I believe it is the LCD. If it is the lcd then press and hold the power button and go make a cup of tea....

Chosen Solution Hey my iPhone 7 has been submerged in water and has water damage… it works perfectly but my home button has been going in and out until it finally stopped working.. I was wondering if in 2021 if I buy a home button from here will it actually work? I’m running on iOS 14.6… You can get a replacement home button that will function for the “click”, and take you to the home screen from in apps, however there is no way to reinstate the TouchID for a damaged home button....

Chosen Solution Hi, I broke the front glass but the picture and touch itself was all working fine. I sent it to get fixed and when it come back, the colors are slightly dull. I’m assuming they used a cheap screen so I’m planning on fixing it myself with OEM products. My question is, would I need the LCD screen and the digitizer or just the LCD? From what I understand if the LCD is still fully working, so no ink or pixels, then it’s just the digitizer that is broke?...

Chosen Solution Last night, in the middle of responding to a text message, my iphone 5s screen went black. I have tried the hard reset option. I have tried plugging it into itunes and letting itunes restoring and updating my iphone multiple times. Every time I have plugged it into itunes, it says there is a problem with the iphone and needs to either be updated or restored. I have tried updating and/or restoring 4-5 times now....

Chosen Solution I replaced my phone screen yesterday after it was shuttering and had bars across it but now a new problem has started. The screen randomly ghost clicks a couple of times a second making my phone almost useless. It happened with the old screen too (but not as frequently) making me think it’s something to do with the phone itself and not the screen. Anyone have this same issue and know a fix?...

Chosen Solution Changed home wifi PW but the buttons on Brava m6 were pet locked. I can’t get back into the my to unlock buttons. Need to press to buttons to reconnect to new wifi. This worked :To turn Child & Pet Lock off without the app, tilt the robot so that one wheel is pressed into the ground (the wheel springs are fully compressed) and the other is floating in the air (the wheel springs are extended, not compressed)....

Chosen Solution My wife’s series 5 (17 months old) recently began having intermittent display black outs. The Apple repair cost is as much as a new watch so I decided to look around inside. There is corrosion on the flex cable where it moves across the battery that I believe is the only issue. I would like to replace the battery (I assume a leak/failure caused corrosion) and the display flex cable but I can’t locate the cable....

No Sir, Its not at all possible as the phone’s band is not at all compatible with the 4G Network, But you do get cheaper 4G Handset in market. Go for an exchange. Chosen Solution In other words, if the screen is cracked but the display and touch are still good, would I be able to just replace the glass? I know on some devices there was space between the display and glass so you could just replace the glass. Is this true with the Galaxy? Unfortunately this model isn’t built that way. Display and glass are laminated with OCA glue so a glass only replacement is not possible unless you have refurbishing equipment for it....

I assume that I am looking at just the pads, and that my “x40 photo 1” shows one of the transistors that popped off. :( iPhone photo x40 photo 1 x40 photo 2 You are probably missing FL11, aka FL2400 in the SE —and definitely missing two of the caps....

Chosen Solution It stopped making ice, a new ice maker was installed and the ice tray is still not filling with water. The water dispenser is working fine, not sure where to go from here or how to do it. Any help is much appreciated. If your water dispenser is working fine, then obviously you have water. Check the water fill valve. Make sure it’s getting the signal to open, and that it is capable of opening....

Chosen Solution I replaced my motherboard on my chromebook and while in the process, the thermal compound fell off. I just thought, oh well I will replace it with thermal paste and make it even cooler. Well the complete opposite happened and now the temps of my chromebook get up to 80 degrees Celsius. So far with my research, the only way to replace this is by buying a whole new keyboard with the thermal compound applied, which cost up to $70....

Chosen Solution Macbook Pro 13" i5 2.5 2012 Mid When I start the macbook pro I get the flashing Question Mark. I’ve replaced the hard drive data cable and tried to boot from an external hard drive and still the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or is the logic board bad? It’s possible the replacement hard drive cable could be bad - I remember I ordered 5 of them once and 2 of them were dead on arrival....

Chosen Solution I have put in a new HD, and now imac can not start. Recovery will not start. The new HD doesn’t have recovery on it. You have to boot from an install disk, install the base OS, then restore from backup. You may have to format the HD first. If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it.
