Chosen Solution Only two days ago I replaced my 1st gen mini’s battery and when I went to pause a song the button did not work. This is the only button to do this and it’s a pain to not be able to stop a song at times. Is there a way to fix it? (Preferably not paying for another part) Hi Cheezus, Since you have to disconnect the entire click wheel to replace the battery, my guess would be that the connector isn’t fully seated so you’re getting most of the buttons working except one....

Chosen Solution I inherited the laptop from my family, who asked me to erase it and didn’t want it back (I got to keep it this year, well past its prime). I tried using it as-is, I can’t; it’s too unbearably slow. While I am not opposed to installing an SSD, the version I have is pretty abysmally specced (A10-4655M/8GB DDR3L - hard to access/15” 768p TN LCD/Realtek wireless/1TB HD - Samsung ST Spinpoint), so the specs are a pretty serious negative on this one....

Chosen Solution Does the light continue to flash until the unit is fully charged ? Per page 9 of the user’s manual, the battery indicator light glows amber when it is charging, and glows green when it is fully charged. It can take up to 3 hours to fully charge, but you should be able to use it while it is charging. So if it is not usable while plugged in, it is probably a defective unit....

Chosen Solution I can’t restore my internal SSD the format is APFS ENCRYPTED. Everything begins when I try to download Xcode beta the size of Xcode is like 15gb the problem was that I only have like 10gb of space in my MacBook Pro and I have issues with the GPU and keeps restarting. when I try to download Xcode knowing that I have less space in the SSD the computer crash and restart in that moment the MacBook stuck in the progress bar....

Chosen Solution I was walking to my next class, and I dropped my speaker on the ground, I picked it up and checked if it was working. I noticed that the color sensor on my speaker was slightly cracked. I tried turning it on, then nothing happened. I tried charging it, nothing happened. I really don’t want this speaker to be broken, someone pls help me!!! If its fairly new, and you have proof of purchase, you might be able to get JBL to warrantee it....

Chosen Solution I got salt water in my iPhone 7 while on vacation, now the screen is black. I toke it to Apple and they won’t fix because of water. Is it still repairable? the faster you get it to a repair shop - the better. salt water is very very (edit: bad) for smart devices (electronics). the motherboard need to be cleaned and tested with new parts.. your chances are 60%....

Kgc Gods that is the NFC/MST/Wireless ANT. The temperature is an odd thing and I would start with a new battery. A bad battery can give you a temperature error which should not originate from the wireless charger....

Chosen Solution I replaced the battery on my ipod 3rd gen and the battery wil not charge from the firewire wall or firewire computer. Im not using usb. I also changed it to use a SD card. When i first installed the battery the blinking folder showed up as expected but after 5 minutes it died and will not charge. Could be the battery

Chosen Solution I spilt water on it this afternoon. Then I used it for about 10 minutes and then i restarted it with an update. It took ages so I left it to update but it might have run out of charge. Then I went to turn it on and It wouldn’t work so I charged it for a while and then the light on the on button turned on but the screen didn’t....

Chosen Solution I think machine has blown fuse. The cord got caught while vacuuming, stopped and will not turn on again. There was no noise or burning smell. Nothing to indicate motor failure. The cord is undamaged. I suspect the machine plug became dislodged from the power socket or something similar to make it blow a fuse. What type of fuse do I need please? Is this something an electrician could fix as I live in a remote area , need the machine for daily use for medical reasons and for medical reason cannot use another machine in the meantime until this one is fixed....

Chosen Solution Hi all! I have a iMac 2009 2.66ghz i5 with the HD 4850 radeon graphics card. The graphic card started failing (freezing) so i tried to reflow the card. This worked 3 times but when i reflow the card it only lasts a week now.. So i bought a new HD 2670 Radeon graphics card online and replaced it. Now my iMac won’t boot at all! There is one diagnostic light on but when i press the on button nothing happens, no chime, nog hdd or fan sound....

Chosen Solution My iPad Pro 4 th Gen. with Retina screen had been acting strangely: very slow to start up and then going dark and seeming to shut down when I tried to slide the power-slide on. Sometimes when I tried to enter my pass code, it wouldn’t allow me to type and then it would fo black and seem to shut down. Other times, it just takes a long time t take the code and load, and it would then load if I clicked the home button....
