Chosen Solution I recently ordered a new screen because my previous one was damaged. When I finally got around to installing it, there was a green line and a black splotch at the top of the screen. I am not sure how this happened but seeing as it was like this imediatly upon installing it, I’d assume it would be a dead pixel or group of dead pixels. I don’t know the procedure or if this is grounds for a return, I’d like to know if I can fix it or if I’ll need to return this one and / or order a new one....

Use these guides to work on your GoPro and take plenty of images. Post those with your question so we can see what you see. Use this guide for that. One of the parts you definitely will have to change is the battery....

The best way to clean the corrosion off of metal is to soak it in a shallow bath of distilled white vinegar. The blue corrosion should bubble and be removable in a few moments. Chosen Solution My iMac 24" 2008 won’t start! When my display goes off the computer turns off and so the diagnostic LED. This also happens when I shut down, and after that the 4 diagnostic LED go off as well, so I assume it’s a PSU issue. Chosen Solution Have a issue with iPad Air backlight. It has spotlights and Ive tried a new diode, new filter but its the same. I will attach pictures if possible Myron, Myron, Myron… you’ve been in it for so long, you shouldn’t have any problems with the basic methods of mictoelectronics diagnostics. Take a multimeter and check the voltage and resistance values of the backlight power channels. Don’t forget about continuity of logical lines....

Chosen Solution I replaced the iPhone 4 GSM digi/lcd combo. When I turn it on, the screen is black. Has anyone else run into this? How do I repair it? I have tried two new digi/lcd units. I can see the back light on under the black. I can hear sounds and it receives calls. Thank you for any help! Chosen Solution I replaced a broken screen on an iPhone 8, after doing so it was stuck on a bootloop. Nothing was changed except of the screen but I did remove some gunk from the charging port. When unplugged it showed a low battery symbol but when plugged in it was on an infinite bootloop. I replaced the dock connector but with the same result: low battery symbol with lightning connector, when plugged in it briefly shows just the low battery symbol and after a while it goes on bootloop....

Chosen Solution I just bought an new battery but it wouldn’t charge after the replacement. I’ve tried replacing my old battery and it works just fine. The new battery only shows the red battery icon after plugging the charging cable, and won’t turn on the phone.I tried measure the voltage but it’s normal (3.82v), is there any solution for this? If the original battery still lets the phone power up, then it seems like you received a faulty battery....
Chosen Solution So my iPhone 7 plus fell to the ground very hard on its face, when I picked it up the screen was intact but it turn gray so I hard turn off the phone using power and volume down keys. after it turned off for 5 min I feel the back of the phone where the A10 ship and it was extremely hot, only after 10-15 min it started to cool down in this time I plugged the phone to charge and to turn it on but I realize that it wont turn on....
Chosen Solution My daughter left her iPod in pants pocket. I washed it and my older daughter found it. They turned it on the screen lights up but wont play. Is there any hope for it or is it parts now. I would get some electronics cleaner or some isopropyl alcohol (>90%) and a soft paintbrush. use the logicboard guide to disassemble the iPod. clean everything “odd” looking (white/greenish residue) with the IPA and the paintbrush....

I have a late 2014 27" 5K iMac with an AMD R9 295x with 4gb. Using a temp sensing app, I notice that the GPU temp while playing games are constantly over 100 degrees C, even with the cooling fan running at 2700 rpms....
Chosen Solution Hi, so I broke my iPhone SE (1st gen) screen and went to repair the screen myself (have done this before on this phone) but the screen remained black despite the phone being on (e.g. when I plugged in the charger I can hear the ding.) I tried the screen on my spare iPhone 5 and the screen works fine so it is not faulty. I have tried many variations of resetting the phone… holding down power/+home button and no luck so far....
Chosen Solution This tablet was in an otterbox on a bed when someone stepped (or jumped on it). It now has dark areas in two opposing corners. The dark areas are outlined by brighter areas. The outer screen glass is NOT cracked at all. The entire picture shows cleanly in all areas, but is darker in those corners. Touch sensitivity still works perfectly, even in the areas that are dark. Is this a backlight issue?...

Richard, If your devices are not connecting to the JetPack, make sure that they are connected to the correct network that the JetPack is associated with. If they are correctly connected to the JetPack and still don’t seem to receive any WiFi service, take a look at the screen on the JetPack and make sure it is displaying one or more service bars on the top left side of the screen....
