Chosen Solution So my iPhone 8 sleep button doesn’t work to lock the phone but it works to take screenshots and power off the phone completely by holding it down. The problem is that it doesn’t work if I press it once to lock the phone. Any idea why? (Also assistivetouch or Autolock don’t work to lock the phone) I haven’t heard of this being a common issues. But I would eliminate software considering it also doesn’t lock with assistive touch....

Chosen Solution Hello all, My TAB, CapsLock and FN keys are not working. The whole keyboard works flawlessly, and considering it is about USD 150 in my home country, I don’t want to give this one up before trying it all. Chosen Solution I have dropped my MBP 16” and the chassi/enclosure/lid whatever it’s called is damaged. But the screen seems fine! Can I change the enclosure/chassi/lid only ? This gets into what Apple offers for parts and what we can get. Apple has reduced the SKU count quite significantly other than fasteners its less than 20! So to fix your system you will need to find another lid assembly who’s LCD is damaged so you can swap out your good LCD to the good lid shell....

Chosen Solution I recently went to a repair shop to get the screens swapped from another New 3DS system because it had a better screen type. However, because the donor system was white it has this white border around the top screen which looks distracting on a black New 3DS system. Would it be possible in any way to have this border replaced with a black one while still keeping the same screen?...

Chosen Solution Whenever I turn on my mac, the finder functions normally. But after a few seconds, the Finder stops working. Whenever I click it again it says “The application Finder can’t be opened.” Then it has a bunch of numbers (-10810) after that. I can’t download any application on it! With the laptop on Target Disk Mode (booting from another Mac drive), try moving some files to another drive. Sounds like your Mac’s drive is too full, which caused apps and Finder to not work....

Chosen Solution Hello everyone I am an owner of imac 27 2011 with dead 6970m 1gb gpu. I am wondering is it possible to replace this gpu with gpu from lower imac models? E.g. 6750m or 6770m. Or even 5750/5670/4670 from 2010 imac or 4850 gf9400/gt120/gt130 imac 2009? Because spent $300 for an other used 6970 gpu looks not very good idea as for me. Chosen Solution Hey all. Have a weird issue ongoing with my trackpad intermittently becoming laggy and semi-responsive. Initially, the trackpad on my Macbook stopped working. Upon inspection, a piece of sand had gotten in and stuck between the casing and battery/trackpad cable. Somehow the heat generated caused the piece of sand to get hot enough to burn a miniature hole through the trackpad cable. Crazy. Thankfully, it didn’t go thru fully and do damage to the battery....

Chosen Solution After replacing my screen and powering back on, it is white with black lines going vertical on the left side. No apple logo appears or any sort of display, just white with the black lines. It was working properly prior to disassembly. Any idea on what it may be?
