Chosen Solution Recently, I have replaced an iPhone 6 screen the phone turned on but suddenly the image became distorted. I thought it was a screen problem and replaced by another screen. Now the phone just don´t turn on. Usually after replacing the screen the phone turns on but the screen remain black. The fix is usually just remove and put back the battery. But this iPhone just DONT TURN ON (doesnt even appear in iTunes)....

Chosen Solution Not getting ring or text tones for incoming calls or text. When I sample ring tones in settings they sound perfect. Bit obvious, but check if Do Not Disturb or your Vibrate / Sound switch is on. If that doesn’t fix it, let me know. Thank you. Do Not Disturb and Vibrate switch are off.

Chosen Solution my iphone 7 start up time is very slow … i have timed it , from pressing the power on button it took 1 minute and 56 seconds on apple logo before eventually coming to menu screen -half the time phone is working great , however the other half it is often freezing and becoming unresponsive for short periods (i have tried to factory reset and the problem continues)....

Chosen Solution This has been a repair from heck first time ive had to result in asking in forums. Customer came in saying his headphones wouldnt work also needed a screen repair. I replaced lightning connector and screen. It bootlooped. Connected it to the charger it burnt the battery out. Replaced the battery and lightning connector it bootlooped again. Forced iTunes mode it wont even let the computer read it left it plugged into to computer it burnt the new battery out....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have an IPhone SE New Generation which was in the water or a few seconds I was quick to be get it out and after I got it’s out it was working normal so I let it air dry around 30 minutes - hour later my phone kept shutting off and only showed the apple logo I continued to let it air dry and didn’t do much as I was at a friends house and was told my phone was water resistance later on in the day I tried charging my phone for 5 seconds but then realised it could damage my phone further later on I kept my phone upward to let the water go out by itself with a paper towel at the bottom....

Chosen Solution Hello, I’m hoping for some advice on what could possibly be the problem with my iphone 6. I recently dropped my phone and had a cracked screen. The phone still functioned properly and after finding a repair shop with good reviews I took it there to have the screen repaired. They replaced the screen but after awhile it got stuck when I tried to take a screen shot. so I took it back to the shop and they replaced the screen again, I thought that it was working fine until I tried to use Siri and it didn’t work, I did some research and found out they probably had the microphone hole covered so I took it back to the shop again....

Chosen Solution I work as a repair tech at a cell phone repair store. And this is something i’ve never seen as long as i’ve been working in the business. An iPhone 4 CDMA came in for a screen and back cover replacement. So we did the repair and the phone worked fine. The customer came back in about a week later saying the phone wont turn on. It ONLY turns on when it’s plugged in to the wall....

Chosen Solution My iPhone X volume up button stopped working all of a sudden. Some time before that I had green lines in screen. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thank you! It might have water damage considering that you had green lines on the screen. It might just be the cable but you won’t know until you open the phone up.

This began over to weeks ago when suddenly all of my text messages disappeared. I backed up the phone to iCloud and confirmed the back up success. Chosen Solution I accidently dropped my phone with screen facing down. After the drop the screen has green dots in it but it slowly turning to black. However the phone is still on and can recieve notification and has some light in it so it’s not completely black screen and when i press on and off repeatedly there are short vertical light that slowly dissepearing in the top. Chosen Solution Section of the logic board of my Iphone 6 16GB fried and is beyond repairable, however the memory chip is still intact. I have another Iphone 6 which only has 12GB. Is it possible to desolder the chip from the 16GB Iphone and replace it with the 12GB Iphone’s chip by soldering it on? Will the data corrupt itself or will it stay intact allowing me to get my photos and what not?...

Chosen Solution Dryer throws a F40 code 4-6 seconds after startup.Replaced Thermal Fuse and Thermoresistor (Both new and old fuses had continuity when checking with a multimeter.Checked circuit board, apparently had been replaced somewhat recently (past couple of years). Heard about the burnt relay on the board as a possible issue (previous board might have had a burnt relay and that’s why the whole board was replaced), but found nothing wrong, all connections looked good....

IMEI isn’t something you’re supposed to remember.. The shortcut for IMEI is *#06# - Are you talking about your lock code, and not IMEI? If you forgot your device lock code, you have to restore your phone (NB! Will erase data). You can erase the phone by putting it in recovery mode and the connecting to iTunes or a Mac, then resetting the device, followed by a restore from a backup, assuming you have backups....

Chosen Solution I gave blank key code and code from glove box on lock cylinder. Locksmiths said they can’t make the key with those codes because it is pre-1992. Find a better. older locksmith. Call them first. That failing, give your VIN number to the dealer and they will make you one, slower and more expensive.

Chosen Solution The microphone cord seems to have a contact failure. I would be able to unweld the 3 little cords inside but I don’t know with what cord I could replace it. I have a headphone cord, with a jack, but I’m not sure it’ll work… and it has only 2 cords in it, not 3. Does anybody has an idea ? I am guessing because it is a stereo microphone, one is left, one is right, the 3rd is ground....
