Chosen Solution I am working on an iPhone XR that was previously water damaged. After trying a new charging port the phone turned on and worked without issue. However, after installing the new charging port into the phone the phone is now starting to boot loop. I have tried a new screen and battery without success and have unplugged the Taptic Engine as well as the charging port antenna flex cable as there was minor corrosion surrounding those connectors on the old charging port....

Hi @blainew, Check if your cell phone can detect the door intercom by enabling the WiFi in the cell phone and then see if the intercom system shows up as a network in the phone’s WiFi available networks list. Not sure if it will be there all the time or only when the door button is operated, so you may have to push the button on the intercom if nothing shows up at first....

Chosen Solution loss of internal power Hi, Did you mean a Toshiba SD63HK? You can either disconnect the power from the device and then open it up and check for a fuse on the circuit board near to where the power cord enters the device. Look for a component with an F designation on the board as fuses don’t have to look like what you think they may look like. If you cannot find a fuse post some close up images of the board back here....

Chosen Solution Hi, I just recently replaced the ageing battery on my iphone 5 and ever since I’ve had a couple of issues, please bear with me as i wrote this on different occasions and have just now pieced them together: Every now and then the phone turned off and wouldn’t turn on even when using the power button or doing a hard reset. It would reboot randomly though. (I witnessed it turning off in an odd way only once, the screen went grey with a few darker lines to the left side and then turned off completely, it turned off more than once but I only saw it do it in such manner that one time, other times it just turned off....

Chosen Solution At the login screen both the touchpad and keyboard works fine but after booting it stops working and bluetooth setup for searching keyboard comes up. I tried resetting SNC and PRAM. Did you ever have a liquid spill onto your keyboard or trackpad? Either the battery is pressing on the trackpad cable because its worn-out or you had a spill which damaged the trackpad....

Chosen Solution I have recently wiped this drive and it won’t let me reinstall lion mac os. I have fast internet but it says unable to install additional components. I have tried changing my date I have changed the internet connection multiple times but it’s as if it doesn’t even attempt to download it. As soon as the installer starts it goes into the negatives and 3 seconds later it says failed to install additional components....

I looked around a little online and a replacement screen would cost anywhere from $20-$60. I’d have to say if you’d take it to a repair shop it would cost at least $70....

Chosen Solution how can i restore my app on the tab On you tablet you going to go to settings then hit the general tab. Once there go to application manager and hit the app you if you want to restore to factory settings then hit the clear data button on which ever app you want to restore and this is where you turn apps back on to but this time you swipe until you see turned off under the application manager and hit the apps you want to enable again by tapping the app and once you do you will see force stop on the left and turn on the right....

Chosen Solution I have a kenmore 165a side by side. The ice maker had a broken on switch inside the ice machine itself. I re-soldered the connection and now it works. However, there is still no water flowing to ice machine. I took apart the back by the filter and swap the connections over the pumps and once I apply current the pump works and send Water to the ice machine....

Chosen Solution Laptop was in sleep mode. Laptop was turned on, using battery. I repositioned the Laptop stand and my laptop turned off and hasn’t turned back on since. I tired plugging it in as thought maybe the battery dried whilst in sleep mode. Charger has power to it as the green light comes on, but the laptop does not turn on. Chosen Solution I changed mt housing on my i5s to matte black and gold. Used oem everything but power lock button flex. I seem to have lower cell signal. I do not know why. Is it possible maybe one of the cables aren’t pushed all the way into the logic board? The housing itself is part of the antennas, some screws and very small contact clips or cables are actually RF conductors....

Chosen Solution I dropped my iPhone 6 in the toilet a few months ago….. So I dried it off and threw it in a bag of rice. After a day I pulled it out and the volume buttons were stuck going volume down and power button wouldn’t respond. Fast foward to a few days ago I took it apart and I used rubbing alcohol on the connector and flex cable to the volume buttons and now the volume will go down just fine when I press it....
