Chosen Solution I spilled soda on my laptop keyboard but as soon as it happened I picked it up and turned it upside down and a lot of soda poured out of it. I then unscrewed all the screws at the back of it and took the back part off and tried to get as much of the soda out as I could. Then I put it on and it went on fine the screen displayed perfectly and there seemed to be no problem....
Chosen Solution I’m not sure it’s due to this but recently my iPhone screen has been dimming even I’m still using it. I sprayed it one time on the tissue and gently wiped on just the glass protection part of the screen. Do you think my phone is damaged? It doesn’t happen all the time, it happens sometimes. I used 75% cleaning product not the type for medical use so I’m worried....
Chosen Solution Hi there, I bought a replacement battery for my MBP retina mid-2012 from ifixit around mid-June 2020. Replaced it myself and no issues whatsoever in the beginning. However, the last week or so, I realise the battery is losing charge quicker than normal. Check coconutBattery and realise that battery health is already 91% after less than 3 months of usage. Chosen Solution (A2116) Did a ram upgrade from 8GB to 32GB but now there’s no boot chime or sound coming from both internal speakers. Headphone jack works with sound. I have also tried a older iMac left speaker that was lying around. Tested with the screen off but still no chime. I tried SMC and NVRAM/PRAM resets. Prehaps I wasn’t doing it correctly(?) (I don’t have access to it at the moment....

Chosen Solution Hi everyone, I have an iPhone 5s that always worked properly. However, since almost a year it won’t charge anymore. Pushing the home/power button together does not work either and it shows no signs of “receiving” electricity. Is that fixable? If yes, how can I? :) Step one—see if it will boot with a new battery. Step two—if it does, see if it can charge that battery. If this phone has been left uncharged for a long period of time, the phone will be unable to charge the dead battery....
Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 6 and it randomly started to bootloop.I knew it was a battery issue, So I went into battery health and it was just loading.So I went to the same place I got my phone battery replace and they replaced it again.Everything was going great until my iPhone was at 4% and it randomly died.I plugged it in but instead of showing the low battery logo it showed the apple logo and it was at 4% instead of 1%....

I folded and forced when try remove it. thanks it doesnt sound like long screw to me though because he says he’s not getting display at all. In my experience, long screw damage usually presents as a bootloop or red/blue screen. I’m not saying it couldn’t happen, just that I’ve never seen it

I thought I unplugged my battery from earlier but I didn’t so I pulled my ground out of my amp and then put it back in and It sparked sparked as I was putting it in. now I can’t get it to work. Did I ruin my amp? It is possible that the inrush current popped the fuse. Check that first. Hopefully that is the only problem. Update this if the fuse is OK....
Chosen Solution After I attempted to replace a faulty joystick I managed to destroy the path where on of the push buttons pin is supposed to be connected [attached image]. I soldered a bridged to the upper pin just so it wouldn’t get biased (They are the same terminal). It works fine for an hour or two, but after that the controller just detects the push button is being pressed or it won’t detect anything at all....

Chosen Solution The touch screen doesn’t work right. some times I have to push the number or symbol to the right to get it to work. Most of the time ion certain keys it won’t work/ dmills20 that type of error is usually caused by a failed digitizer. Replacing that should fix the issue.
