Chosen Solution I’m looking for small, metric fasteners for fixing a frame.work laptop computer. Do you have or know a source for any that meet these specs? M2 3.0mm fastener with a 4.5mm diameter, 0.7mm thick T5 head.M1.6 1.5mm fastener with a 5.5mm diameter, 0.6mm thick T5 head.M2 4.0mm fastener with a 4.6mm diameter, 0.6mm thick T5 head.M2 5.75mm with a 4.6mm diameter, 0.8mm thick T5 head. Unfortunately, frame.work does not sell these screws....

Chosen Solution So I pluged my Behringer mixer to a 220v power outlet here in Chile but it was the US version. I opened it and checked on everything, the fuse was broken, I changed it and it still doesn’t work. This is how everything was. The first part seemed OK. Next it was connected to a power transformer (it seems OK as well). Then this part which is all the outputs on the back....

Chosen Solution Starting with machine off, I fill up to water line, turn on the ice maker, the fan is blowing, dumps one load of cubes after a few minutes, fan turns back on, Fan turns off, comes back on, turns off comes back on, started to freeze 2nd batch but tries to release 2nd batch before it’s done. Starts over. First thing I would do is to allow it to re-set by turning it off for 15 minutes....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 6 has a few areas of damage: the screen very slightly lifts up/clicks at the bottom, the metal on the bottom outside is kind of beaten up, and at one point water got under the screen. Phone functions perfectly. But wondering, does this damage mean the phone is emitting greater EMF than is standard? Used this phone during pregnancy. While not obvious there is a small slot along the bottom edge of the display frame just above the Apple logo. So what happens is the adhesive strip covers the opening when you apply it As an example here’s the 21.5” model

Chosen Solution I have a Macbook Air mid-2013 with a 256GB SSD drive. It was working fine, but one day after a long plane trip, I turned it on and it was showing the blinking folder icon with a question mark. I entered Recovery Mode and used diskutil to see that it plainly wasn’t recognizing the main drive (it wasn’t showing up at all). Resetting SMC and NVRAM didn’t help. After that, when I try to turn the computer on it mostly isn’t working, but sometimes (like now) it works perfectly fine....

Firstly - The home button is not working, when I press it nothing happens, Ipad Mini is not responding to home button. Secondly - The touch screen is not working properly, doesnt seem to respond to my touches. Chosen Solution Hi there, I’m having trouble with an iPhone, Its the XR, When you connect it to iTunes/3U tools the phone is recognized by both as being in DFU mode, When you click on restore/update the phone begins to restore, when its completed and reboots it goes straight back into DFU mode, I have tried to take it out of DFU mode with no joy, I’m hoping someone has come across this before....

Chosen Solution Ipohone SE got very light water damage last week (water dripped on front). Phone screen went from distorted colors to total darkness after a couple of days. Phone still rang and alarm worked, etc. I placed phone in a silica pack bag to dry out any remaining moisture. Ordered screen replacement and just completed it. Phone turned on and screen was fully working and responsive. I was so happy !...

Chosen Solution I had my phone attached to a sticky pad on the wall, with the screen on the pad facing the wall. When I tried to pull it off, the screen stayed attached to the sticky pad, and separated from the rest of the phone, only at the top though. First the screen was white with a streak, now after me trying to gently separate it again to peer in, it’s completely black and doesn’t turn on....

Chosen Solution So I dropped my note 3 and the middle silver frame/bezel got scuffed to where it’s no longer silver but white. I called every cellphone specialist in my area but all of them said it would cost roughly $200 because they would have to replace the whole housing however I found just the silver frame on ebay for $17. My question is would I be able to install this and are there any risk by disabling my note 3?...

The connector for the home button sensor that goes under the display plate and connects to the logic board, is that replaceable , because I know that the home buttons’ sensor if damaged needs to be replaced by Apple, but I could not find an answer about this connector cable....

Chosen Solution Hi, There’s a problem with my hard drive, possibly a bad sector. I had to remove the data and format it and it was working for some minutes (22 min) and then it had HDD access problem. At this point it does not save the records anymore and always shows “Recovering data” after you stop the record and there will be no record. I have tried formatting it using the camera firmware, but the problem persists....

Chosen Solution I can’t remember spilling anything on it and this Mac is somewhere around 3-4 years old. Model number A1466 So here’s the story. One time I was on my Mac (at the time running macOS.) and suddenly it just shut down without warning while on the charger and not like hibernate and save your data, it completely turned off. Confused, I booted it up again only to see “no hardware” and no WiFi....

Chosen Solution I have just upgraded my laptop from win 7 32 bit to win 7 64 bit and everything went well but when i try to upgrade my ram from 4 gig to 8 gig it stalls at the windows start screen. could this be a ram speed problem ? I have flashed the bios to a newer version but this didnt help turns out there is no bios fix for this problem....

Chosen Solution can i get a replacement proximity sensor because I lost mine when I replaced the screen and now my screen goes black as soon as I make a call which stops access to my screen should i need to pick options on my call all you need is a scalpel or stanley knife, electrical tape, magnifying glass and determination/patience.. so should this happen to anyone else i thought I’d let you all know that it wasn’t the actual proximity sensor i had lost but a tiny ‘cushion’ with two holes the size of pin !...

Chosen Solution Nexus 7 2012. Purchased a replacement battery from this site. Installed it according to the instructions. Put the tablet on a charger for 10 hours. No indication it was charging and after 10 hours tablet would not boot. Put the failing original battery back in, tablet booted. There must be something I’m missing. What does it take to get the tablet to recognize a new battery? Hi, If the original battery when reinserted shows that it is charging and the tablet will boot from it and the replacement battery doesn’t show that it is even charging then it appears that the problem is with the replacement battery....

Chosen Solution I’m switching carriers. The SIM from the new carrier says ‘the SIM is disabled’. Any ideas as to how to fix this? you could check your network settings and make sure you aren’t set to 2G or 3G only assuming your SIM is a 4G or LTE type. Usually it’s set to auto-detect or fall back if one network is having problems, but it’s something easy to try. I’d reboot afterwards if you end up changing it....
