Chosen Solution A funeral director dropped my MacBook Pro and it never worked since. I have so many precious irreplaceable photos and iMovies on it. Is it possible to send it in to a specialist to have it transferred? The Apple Store said they couldn’t do it. Is the system not responding at all? Or, has the drive its self failed? Sometimes we can still get the system to startup enough so we can recover the data....

Chosen Solution I was using my Macbook connected to a Dell P2219 monitor using usb-c hub and hdmi cable without closing the internal display(at lowest brightness). But the display turned to blue/purple and mostly black after I unplugged all the cables. It stays the same after few hours and only works normally for external monitor. I already tried to uninstall some possible applications, update the system(but still 10.14.6) and reset the NVRAM, didn’t work....

Chosen Solution Ive noticed searching for “Screen”. I can run across “screen protectors” (obviously not the right thing) or “replacing the screen” as in the lcd panel. What about just replacing the cracked glass over the LCD panel. If there is no info here, what should I call the glass? Chosen Solution Can i boot ssd in uefi mode ,swtched to ssd from hdd ,installed windows 10 but uefi option in bios is not available and still booting in ahci mode which is not speed up the laptop operation. Is this possible to boot in uefi mode though it seems uefi mode is not supported in vostro 1450,is it Hi Amit Based on the info from dell, this model does not supports uefi ....

Chosen Solution Hi all, A few keys of mine have stopped working simultaneously - CTRL, OPTION, and the right SHIFT keys (the left SHIFT does, however work). Also, while the Caps Lock does work, the light never illuminates. Word from Apple is this would require a full top-case replacement. I did find it interesting, though, that when they hooked up an external keyboard to attempt to run it in a diagnostic mode using one of the malfunctioning keys, this didn’t work as well....

Chosen Solution I believe I have the Samsung tab A8. It is not 8 inches nor running on Android 8.it doesn’t have Spen and the camera is in corner and it has a Sim slot but no bloatware so it must be a factory unlocked device. My question is it works perfect except when I go to charge it, I have to put the charge cord in just ever so right and it will charge....

Chosen Solution I recently replaced the mute switch on my wife iPhone 6. I got it all back together and everything is work, at least so i thought. She received a call the next day and she’s couldn’t hear anything. The internal ear speaker/receiver was not working. The external speaker worked, headphones worked, Bluetooth to the car worked. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?? Check if the front camera works....

Chosen Solution I dropped My iPod touch a while ago but i remembered i had pictures from a trip on it so i tried to transfer them onto my computer. I couldn’t because my screen was popping out and i had many lines going through it. I couldnt enter my password anymore. Can i do anything to fix the screen? Chosen Solution I have a Samsung Galaxy with a broken screen, I can’ get access to it, i would like to retrieve the data stored in it. You fix the phone (get the screen replaced) then you can get the data out. This is how ‘data recovery’ has always been done on mobile phones. Plug the usb into a laptop or computer. Your files on the Samsung should appear as another drive on your pc....

Chosen Solution My camera goes dead a second after I put new batteries in. Cindy mcgill , From forums I have read, these camera’s seem to be prone to using up the batteries very quickly because of all the auto settings which you can turn off, reset the settings to factory initial,normal back light brightness, turn off continuous focus mode, turn off display and use the view finder,etc.etc., and it is a must to use very high quality batteries Duracell 2650 mAh rechargeable batteries (NiMH) or original Sony batteries are recommended....

Chosen Solution it was off i thought its battery low but wen i charge it still it does not switch on,i booted with `power key volume up & home key then vibrated once never switch again anymore Hi nceba, You should charge it for 1-2 hours before trying to switch it on, the battery is fully drained and it needs time and charge to fully work again.

Chosen Solution The issue and where I’m at: My 5th gen Ipad a1822 stopped charging shortly after it took a small fall. There are some data and contacts I want to recover from the device, these are fairly important to me and I am willing to spend some money to recover them. I assume the most likely problems are a fault with the battery, the charging port or some sort of short on the PCB....

Chosen Solution I foolishly thought that I could repair my old iPhone 4 power button myself, so I took it all apart and tried to replace this ‘power and sensor cable’ and see if I could make the power button work (tried putting something in it but that didn’t work), then I made the classic mistake of not being sure how to put it back together and when I finally did it didn’t fit in properly and the screen is all white/bars like it’s been dropped or something....

Scenario One: I can get the plug into itunes screen but itunes will not restore and I can get to give me an error 9 and 3194. The 9 is what i get when i try and restore to 8.3 (which is what was on it before the issue)....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 5s suddenly stuck on “Searching” for the cellular network, even when I eject the SIM card the phone doesn’t display “No Sim”. Everything else works fine. Chosen Solution Heya everyone, My friend recently gave me their iPhone 8 after they utterly destroyed its screen and back glass plate. I have immediate plans to replace the screen, but I’m just gonna pick up a case and wait a bit on the back glass. So here’s my question: Does any third party out there make back plate that isn’t glass? I kinda don’t care about the wireless charging feature, so it doesn’t really matter if the material isn’t conductive or whatever (I’m graduating up from an iPhone 5, so less is more to me....
