Chosen Solution when I call my husband to his Iphone 5S from mine I hear a buzzing noise once in a while only when I call his phone and he doesn’t hear it what could it be If it’s only when you call your husband then it will be a problem with his phone rather than yours. Possible that his microphone is faulty @traciti , If you only get the buzzing when calling your husbands phone, it could possibly be the environment he is in (try calling him when he is out of the car/work/etc....

Chosen Solution Hey, so my iPod touch of nearly 5 years just went into boot-loop that is persisting, even after attempting to force-reset. This would totally be fine despite the fact when I plug it into my computer to attempt iTunes, it breaks the loop/shuts down completely even if on the recovery page and does not turn back on until I re-plug it into my adapter. Does anyone have any possible idea or tips on how to fix this?...

According to my father in law, the iMac started having problems powering on, necessitating multiple tries and sometimes unplug- replug. Chosen Solution I’m looking at an Epson Stylus Pro 7600 to possibly buy for high-quality print and photo printing. Does anyone know of any issues with this printer that I should know about and check before I buy it? Patrick Epson does not make drivers for this with windows 7 thats an issue. Sometimes the XP 64 bit drivers or the Vista 64 bit drivers will work with win7 I have a full G5 setup with xright and a image print rip that I am restoring and setting up....

Chosen Solution I have a 5th gen ipod nano that was working just fine. I plugged in to charge & when I unplugged it got a message saying “ok to disconnect” & now it won’t work at all. Chosen Solution Phone is in disable mode, due to several password entries. I’m trying to do a factory restore but iTunes doesn’t recognize the phone, even if the phone is in dfu mode. I’ve tried different usb ports, laptop and OEM cables. Phone charge perfectly. A couple of days ago I went to apple genius bar. Chosen Solution Hi all, first time post on here after having used ifixit guides for a couple of fixes. i have a MBA 11” early 2015 with me that died recently. After stripping it down it became obvious the cause was liquid damage primarily around the SMC chip(bad news i know). I am going down the route of replacing the logic board first but this raises an interesting question for this and any other machines that come my way....

Chosen Solution I had to change my screen and i got an OLED screen. Now it keeps restarting every 5-10 seconds. I reset my phone to factory and it kept restarting and didn’t get through the reset until i removed the screen and turned it on with the screen off. Now it starts up to the hello screen but restarts every 5-10 seconds now. So i am not sure if i just got the wrong screen or if there could be something wrong with the screen that is shorting out....

Chosen Solution I have a 1st gen classic and when it is plugged in it gives me the file screen. However, when I try putting it in disk mode or debug mode it will freeze up on the apple logo and stay that way untill it either dies or I do a hard reset at which point it will go straight back to the file screen. @zaccpecc could be a hard drive issue....

Chosen Solution Ice maker works fine when when I try to dispense it hums. i removed ice Ben emptied all the ice turned round wheel it turns freely. Put ice storage unit back in with a few pieces of ice didpenser work fine for a minute and then hums again. With all the ice removed everything appears to be free. Most likely a failing auger motor. Please give us your exact make and model number....

Chosen Solution Hi, on the 2015 Fusion model, is there any reason why I can’t remove the small 128GB blade SSD and replace the 2TB mechanical HDD with a 2TB 2.5” SSD? Totally doable. You could even leave the blade drive in there and still upgrade the HDD to a 2.5” SSD if you wanted. And then not have to muck around with getting the board out, just to take that drive out....

Chosen Solution Front camera is working but blurry for far subjects and only clear when super close. Not focusing even after clicking. Face ID still working 100% though Troubleshooting I did so far. Forced restart, Factory Reset (not from Dfu mode) Cleaning with Microfiber Cloth. Still Blurry. Chosen Solution You need to take the phone to a reputable repair shop locally in your area that does board level repairs on iPhones for liquid damage evaluation. They are your best chance of getting a liquid damaged phone repaired.
