The screen was cracked but is fit and still doing the same thing. This indicates a cracked digitizer screen. The device will do something we call ghosting. This allows the phone to boot onto the home page with no issues, I started testing everything. Most Asus laptop keyboards are easily removed by pushing in the retainer clips near the top of the keyboard where it meets the bezel. Use a small spudger or tool to press the clips in then lift that section out, and continue on until all clips have been removed....

When plugging it into a voltage reader it shows that it’s only pulling .30 amps, which is obviously way below what it should pull. I’m assuming this is caused by the battery or charge IC. I replaced the screen and now it turns on, but it’s stuck in Recovery mode. iMacs and MacBooks recognize the phone when plugged in and they give me the option to restore. I do the whole process, it downloads an iOS update, and it restores… there’s even a progress bar on the phone, and after it finishes, it reboots and goes back into recovery mode again....

What could be wrong with it? Its also on a fresh copy of iOS no 3rd party apps and not being used. It’s most likely that the battery life has diminished and no longer holds charge properly....

The back (display side) left corner is affected the worst, but no more than a millimeter or so: It’s still enough that I feel it though so I just want to confirm it isn’t something to be worried about. Chosen Solution I ordered an “esd” silicone mat from China to do my repairs on but it came charged with a high amount of static electricity that makes my hairs stand. Is it safe to repair smartphones on it? (I’m using an esd wristband) not sure. Never had a phone die to static while fixing. I wouldnt personally, because thats a lot of static. Chosen Solution Is there a way to separate the LCD from the backlight? My LCD cracked so I bought a replacement. I removed the LCD+backlight combination part and I can’t figure out how to separate them. And I can’t find either of the other two parts for sale (backlight or combination unit). Edit: added pictures. In pictures with both LCDs, old LCD+backlight combination on bottom, new LCD on top. It’s not obvious from the pictures, but the combination unit is about twice as thick and has 2 electrical plugs (extra plug is for the backlight)....

If supported the image chat, is it through the internal microphone part or furnished with a Web-camera like TV that Panasonic makes? There is definitively no microphone in ATV- no reason to justify the addition of an analog audio Codec in this box. If it were the case, there would also be an analog output (likely on a 3.5mm stereo jack)....
Chosen Solution I spilled water and eventually reached my PlayStation and only the bottom of it got wet. I dried it, but when I tried to play the game that was already in there it was saying " insert disk in order to start this game" so I took the game out, cleaned it and put it back in. Now it says " Unrecognized Disk. " When ever I put the disk in there it spins , stops, makes a clicking noise, then spins again till finally it tells me it doesn’t recognize my disk....

I would follow the guide again and double check those. they are connected and the area where the phone speaker is getting hot
