Chosen Solution Or should i buy fm 2032? The thing is FM-2027 has a much larger tip range, and it also has 0.2mm tips. FM-2032 is smaller in your hand, but is it such a large inconvenience? My supplier currently has a very good price for a set of FM-203 with 2027 soldering iron and micro tweezers, thinking of buying it. What do you guys think? I’ve been using the 2027 soldering irons and they are great, I don’t really see much benefit to using a smaller soldering iron handle other than ergonomics, might be better on your hand if you plan to solder for more than a few hours a day....

Chosen Solution i have a mid 2010 MacBook it orginally came with a A1382 battery can i use a A1286 battery on it ?? FYI the battery connectors are different on these two batteries and the A1382 battery will NOT in fact work as it won’t go into the connector port- if you look closely there is a small strip of plastic that prevents it from going in A 1382 battery should work in a MBP 15" 2010....

Chosen Solution Hey. My iPod has been corrupted for over a year now. It turns on, charges, but I can’t “use” it and it doesn’t get detected by the computer. I’ve troubleshooted and everything except for opening it up. Is there any adapter or way to move the music on to my computer/external HD? Would a battery swap fix it as it dies pretty quickly when not connected? I’m desperate....

Chosen Solution I noticed a few days ago that my X key was very sensitive to touch… to the point where I could type out that letter by just rubbing the key. I took the cap, scissors and plunger off that key and a few others to see what the problem was and noticed that the plastic film thing that sits directly under the plunger for this specific key had a dent in it… only difference between the other keys I looked at that could possibly cause this....

My Macbook Pro got updated to 10.14.6 and when I turned it ON, the fan started with loud voice and I cannot see battery sign in taskbar, I tried the Show Battery checkbox in system settings that too didnt work. Also my keyboard backlit is not working. The charger connector led switched color when I try Power key + Shift + ctrl + alt then it turns on again with same fan noise and no battery icon in taskbar....

Chosen Solution Would it be possible to put the CPU processor and RAM memory of an iMac Late 2012 into an iMac Late 2013? I’m not sure its worth the effort to take a 2012 21.5” CPU and put it into a 2013 21.5” system as the 2012 CPUs are an older technology Ivy Bridge vs Haswell the systems BIOS micro-code may not allow it. As far as RAM both systems use the same RAM but this series only has two SO-DIMM slots, your system will either have two 4GB (8GB) or two 8GB (16GB) SO-DIMM’s so unless you have the larger set to put into the other logic board it won’t gain you anything....

Chosen Solution Update: It was a faulty SATA cable I tried to change the old 1TB drive into an 500SSD. Everything went smooth but after the start with the new SSD installed, it was not recognised. I removed it again and connected it externally on my other Mac, formatted it (GUID / Extended (Journaled)) and installed it again. No change. I installed the old 1TB hard drive again and now this too is not recognised any more....

Chosen Solution Bought second hand iMac on fb market place knowing it needed a new hard drive, replaced it with an ssd as well as upgrading the ram to 16 gig, everything works perfectly except the speakers… they are defiantly connected and they do work as I get the startup “bong!” Every time I turn the computer on, but other than that there is absolutely no sound, ive tried reinstalling the os, also tried using with headphones in (no sound through headphones either) leading me to believe there is something wrong with the port that seems to make the computer think is has some other form of speaker connected even though it does not, Can anyone help with this?...

Chosen Solution This has a KILLED glass and 1/2 of the screen shows up and the other half does not and also oozing oil from it. Sounds like you have a damaged LCD but if you can upload some pictures that would be greatly appreciated.
