Chosen Solution I recently bought a used iPhone 6 + online. Before buying I checked to make sure it was not iCloud locked, it wasn’t water damaged. The phone wasn’t blacklisted, and there wasn’t even a scratch anywhere. It appeared to be in percent condition. The only thing that was wrong with it was the phone not booting up. Chosen Solution I repaired the backlight replacing FL4211, initially everything worked fine … but at the time of closing the device did not start anymore ‘and itunes gave me this error 0 × E8000015 then I put in dfu restoring solve the startup problem but I do not see again nothing on the display. Check again resistance on lcd connector, backlight voltages, diode, everything ok .. Now I wonder what could have happened …....

Chosen Solution The battery is swollen and causing trackpad issues (difficulty clicking, only clicking in a certain place). I’ve already upgraded the RAM and the HD to an SSD. Is it worth putting more into this not knowing how long it could last or should I just give up and buy a new laptop? Well, if it’s the first replacement, it’s worth it! Chosen Solution i need to know where i can buy parts for this engine. the timing is also off and runs hot. bdcwhittle first you would have to properly identify the engine. It could be a 2.4L 4-cyl 2LT Turbo Diesel or a 2L (non-Turbo) but that is only a guess. Some off that will depend on where you are located and where that trucks comes from. The 2LT was for the US market and the 3LT for Asia and Europe etc....

Chosen Solution I had accidentally drop my switch, that it lands on the screen but the screen almost show all black but it somehow still able to read my finger. The outer screen didn’t break but for the display did screw up. Is there a way to fix it without able to pay for repairments and/or get a new one? It’s possible that the connection was just knocked loose. TronixFix is a really good youtuber that shows how to do repairs step-by-step....

Chosen Solution It want go any father when you turn on, just stays on the words The SD drive in the unit has failed. To verify this, press down the Power and volume up keys until it powers on (have the unit plugged into the charger in case the battery also doesn’t have a charge on it). It will boot and fail with a message about the SD card failure. If it can read the SD card, it will reinitialize the unit just like it was when you first bought it....

Chosen Solution I have recently purchased a store with this phone system. I have recorded a new greeting for line 1 and it is saved in the machine. Chosen Solution I bought this Chromebook offerup but is still enrolled in an enterprise. I rather see what I can do to try and fix it. I got it for $40 and with or without enterprise enrollment the deal is to good to pass up. you can contact enterprise and have it unenrolled. or you can do the more difficult way where you take off the back to uneroll through the software itself...

Chosen Solution Hello iFixit community I’ve have done a terrible mistake. Months ago I replaced the Front panel / LCD part of my iPad Air 2. But I so far neglected to put in the adhesive stripes to fully close up my iPad again. So I have been using it with a pretty loose LCD part all this time. Chosen Solution I am trying to factory reset an ipad air for a customer. In iTunes it is stuck on Verifying iPad Restore. it has been like this even overnight at one point. i have tried regular recovery mode restore, update and restore, dfu restore and a few so-called “iDevice software repair programs” like PhoneRescue. It is the same problem with itunes(macOS Sierra with latest itunes installed) and in Finder (macOS Catalina) the iPad is stuck in recovery mode....
