Chosen Solution Replaced icemaker inlet valve, now it’s not making ice We thought we had a leaking icemaker inlet valve. We replaced it only to find out that the issue was actually the water line connected to the valve. My husband clipped out the piece of the tube with the leak and reconnected. We tested and adequate water is going through. The water works perfectly from the door, but it is not making or dispensing ice....
Chosen Solution Been through this once before with my horribly unreliable Retina MacBook Pro. Went to turn it on and it would not. Plugged it in, took 5 minutes to boot, no battery detected. Contacted iFixit customer support and haven’t heard back yet. Assuming they have the day off today. What do y’all think, same issue? Micro Controllers out? Did you try a SMC reset? When I turn on the power, either through the remote or at the TV itself, the power light changes from red to blue for a second or two, then it turns red and blinks about 5 times and then goes back to solid red. What’s the error code in pop-up window when iTunes fails to restore your iPad? You can try restore using 3uTools http://www.3u.com/ , see if that works.
Chosen Solution my home button was broken a while ago and I tried the other ways of getting in dfu mode nothing worked, I plugged into iTunes for windows and it still didn’t detect it, since i have to tap trust computer, which I can’t do cause I’m in update mode, it’s been stuck like this with the progress bar not even showing a pixel of black(the progress bar), at the time of writing, also when I plug it into iTunes it gives me error 0xe8000065 after a few minutes EDIT: I have now gotten the iPad to the plug into iTunes black screen but on the middle of updating, it disconnects and says error 2003...

Chosen Solution the phone battery finished quickly The battery is likely very worn out. You can check your battery health in settings. If it’s low you can replace the battery yourself or go to a repair shop and have them do it.

The battery is at the charged voltage using a multimeter and it still won’t show anything on the screen. I have ordered a new battery and dock connector but if they don’t work what should I do. Chosen Solution I was at the beach near the shore and a wave hit me, getting only the top of my iPhone (power button and camera side) slightly wet. I dried it off, the screen went grey and flickered with some white squares, then the phone turned off. Then the phone started overheating, mostly near the top of the battery on the back side. It got really hot, past the point where it would give you the overheating warning and automatically shut off....
Chosen Solution Hi there Today I had changed the back housing. After that the iphone starts to restarts every 3 minutes and noticed that there is heat below the camera, which obviously the motherboard. I disassemble everything for testing, I just used the power button and the 3 LCD cables. But still keeps restarting. I come into the conclusion that it must be the motherboard. Did I miss something here? I had reset the phone but didn’t fix the issue....
Chosen Solution So i replaced the charging port in my iPhone XS today. This was my first attempt at fixing a phone so i was nervous but i actually pulled it off. However, after the install my phone would keep restarting every 3 minutes. I went through the phone 3 times looking for something that i didn’t hook up quite right or left out only to find nothing. So i put the original charging port back in and boom no restart phone works like normal....
